5' In viewof the above,the Ministry of Railways is of the viewthat the existing condition 50%of temporary of only statuscasual labourservice beingcountedasqualifying service needs to be liberalized so that suchstaffare in a position to earna reasonable amountof pensionon their retirement r d s o f f u l pl e n s i o n ' i f n o t f upl le n s i o n ' say,2/3 ltwould,therefore,benecessarytomodifytheexistingcondition to providethat 100%of temporary statuscasuallabourservicewiil be ailowedto be reckonedfor the purposeof determining the qualifying servicefor grantof pensionary benefits. 6' Ministryof Finance arerequested to consider the matterto modifytheiro.M. providefor t00% of temporary dated14.5.6g to statuscasualservicerenderedbefore absorptionin reguraremproyment beingtreatedasqualifying servicefor the purposeof grant pensionary of benefits. 7.
