1. Transportation is not provided across boundaries. Parents are responsible for transportation. 2. Transportation is provided for students in JK-6, to and from school and a caregiver location within the school boundary, as per Board policies and distance criteria determined by the Ottawa Student Transportation Authority (OSTA). 3. Cross-boundary transfers will not be approved where the receiving school does not have available space for new registrants. 4. Cross-boundary transfers are automatically renewed on a yearly basis while the student attends the same school, as long as the criteria upon which the transfer was approved has not changed (e.g., childcare location remains within the boundary). 5. Cross-boundary transfers may be cancelled by the school principal for the following reasons: lack of academic progress, excessive absences/ lates, safe school issues, or changes to the address of the caregiver upon which approval was granted. If a cross-boundary transfer is cancelled, the student will be re-registered at his/her home school.
