RETAIL SHIFT LEAD (FULL-TIME) Daily Table Roxbury – Dudley Square: 2201 Washington St, Boston, MA 02119 About Daily Table: Daily Table is a nonprofit grocery food store which seeks to transform how groceries are supplied in America’s inner cities and alleviate obstacles to inner-city health and nutrition by providing fresh produce and other high-quality foods to the urban marketplace at a fraction of the typical prices. Founded by former Trader Joe’s President, Doug Rauch, Daily Table uses excess wholesome, healthy food items to create grab-n-go meals and grocery items at affordable prices. Since the launch of our first store in Dorchester in June 2015 Daily Table has grown a membership base of 13,000+. Position Summary: We’re looking for a full-time Retail Shift Lead responsible for overseeing our new Roxbury store during a shift. The Shift Lead will ensure that the team is providing a great customer experience for everyone that walks through our door. Duties and Responsibilities: Supervision and Leadership  Serve as the leader of the store team ensuring that all tasks are completed.  Respond to customer concerns and ensure that correct opening and closing procedures are followed.  Lead by example, provide feedback and coach team members to continually improve and get better each day. Customer Experience and Engagement  Every member of the Daily Table team shares this responsibility. We strive to treat every customer in our stores with the utmost respect to ensure that they have an incredibly positive experience at Daily Table.  The Shift Lead takes ownership of the way the store looks and takes pride in Daily Table always looking its best. Merchandise Handling  Receive product deliveries, ensuring that shipment are accurate and paperwork is complete  Conduct inventory counts to ensure each department is well stocked and has product available.  Ensure that product displays are always full, well-organized, look good and have proper signage and pricing. Processing Transactions  Quickly and accurately process customer transactions and bag purchased items at point of sale.  Handle cash and other payment options accurately and responsibly. Required Qualifications: -

Great attitude and interest in providing a great customer experience Demonstrated supervisory experience is required Reliable and honest, shows up on time, takes initiative and never says, “That’s not my job.” The Shift Lead is a hands-on leader and always sets an example for performance for others to follow Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work with and provide great service to a diverse team and customer base. Excellent basic math skills and ability to operate a cash register or POS system Must be able to perform physical demands, such as; standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50lbs
