…………………………………………………………………………… Admission is made on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying examination and also following the rule of reservation. A. Eligibility for Admission: Applicants for admission into the three year Degree Course should have passed the examination of Board of Intermediate Education of A.P or any other equivalent examination recognized by S.V. University or central Board. TTD Degree Colleges are affiliated to S.V. University. B. Local & Non-Local : All the students studied in the Schools / Institutions located in Rayalaseema Districts viz., YSR Kadapa, Kurnool, Anantapur & Chittoor and Nellore are treated as local candidates and 75% seats in each course and in each college are allotted to them. The students have to submit study certificates (s) (Class VII to Intermediate) to that effect. The students who have studied in the Schools / Institutions other than the Districts of A.P mentioned above will be treated as Non-local and will be considered for 15% of seats in each course and college. C. Admission: i) Admissions are made based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination. However, the order of preference to be followed in deciding the merit of a candidate is given below : ii) Criteria applied for selection: 1. 2. 3. 4.

Helpline Desk: A helpline Desk is setup at each college (S.V. Arts College, SGS Arts College and SPW Degree College) to provide guidance to the students and their parents regarding online admissions during the college working hours i.e., 10.00 AM to 5.00 PM.

Online submission of application: The candidate shall submit the application online duly filling the correct information in the boxes. The candidate shall compulsorily fill the mandatory information indicated by (*) mark otherwise the application will be treated as invalid application. After filling online submission, the Students shall be downloaded the hard copy of the filled application by entering candidate ID.

v) Submission of application (Hard Copy): The candidate shall also submit application in duplicate (downloaded hard copy of filled in online application) along with the attested copies of the required documents. Incomplete applications will be summarily rejected. The filled in applications have to be submitted to the Principal, S.V.Arts College, TTD, Tirupati (irrespective of Gender and College applied) on or before the last date of submission of applications either in person or by post. A self-addressed stamp envelope has to be submitted along with the hard copy of the application. D. Pattern of Courses and Eligibility conditions for various groups: Each Degree course is of three year duration consisting of two parts; Part-I is compulsory and common to all the course in the first and the Second years of study. The details are as follows: Part I : a) English b) Telugu / Hindi / Sanskrit Part II : All the Degree Colleges affiliated to S.V.University area have adopted Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) introduced in the academic year 2015-16 onwards. Every academic year consists of two semesters. Part III: The details of the Degree Courses offered and Fee Structure in three colleges [S.V. Arts College(SVAC) S.P.W. Note:1. The students who passed qualifying examination with any combination are eligible for admission into B.A. & B.Com. However students of Arts with history combination will be given priority for admission into B.A(HEP) combination. Students of HTC & HET are preferred for admission into B.A (HPT). Students of Commerce are preferred for admission into B.Com course. Candidates who have studied in Telugu Medium are also eligible for admission into English Medium. 2. Students who have passed Vocational courses should have passed bridge course for admission into the respective science group (BSc). 6

E. FEE CONCESSIONS 1. All students of SC and ST Communities whose parental Income does not exceed Rs.1,00,000/- per annum, are exempted from payment of Tuition Fee and Special Fees subject to the product of the latest Caste and Income Certificate from the MRO concerned. 2. Visually Challenged students are exempted from payment of College fee, such as Tuition Fee and Examination Fee. 3. Children of the TTD Employees are exempted from payment of Tuition Fee only. They have to pay Special Fees and other fee, only after production of employment certificate of their parents. 4. The Principal may recommend poor and deserving students for the concessions offered by the State Government and Central Government. NOTE: If the scholarship is not sanctioned by the concerned Welfare Department / or not applied by the student, the student has to pay full fee for claiming their TC/CC (Except Visually Challenged students only). The College Management will not be responsible for not claiming the Scholarship. F. Reservation: Seats are reserved for SC, ST and BC candidates as per the reservation rules. Seats are also reserved as per the reservation rules for the candidates under the categories NCC, Physically Handicapped, Sports & Games and Children of Armed Personnel. Further, a few seats are reserved for the children of TTD employees in Service. G. Intimation to selected candidates: 1. The information to the selected candidates will also be communicated through SMS, e-mail and the information will be posted on the website: admission.tirumala.org The candidate must present any of the above as evidence of selection during the admission interview. 2. The candidate may also download the Selection / Intimation letter duly referring ……….ID. H. Certificates / Documents to be submitted: Candidates are directed to attend the interviews with the following original certificates and a set of attested Xerox copies. 1. Certificate of SSC or equivalent examinations. 2. Intermediate pass certificate cum Marks Memorandum or certificate of Equivalent Examinations. 7

3. Transfer certificate. 4. Candidates who have studied in the state A.P., a) Study / bonafied certificate from VI to Intermediate shall be submitted. b) A candidate who has not studied a class in any institution, a residence certificate for that period only shall be submitted. c) Candidates who have not studied in any School / College in five Districts (Chittoor, Nellore, Y.S.R Kadapa, Anantapur, Kurnool) but resided in local area residence certificate mentioning the period of residence from VI to Intermediate. 5. Permanent Caste certificate of the candidate issued by MRO and latest income certificate of the parent issued by MRO. 6. NCC/ PH/ Sports / Ex-Ser certificates issued by the respective competent authority. 7. Xerox Copies of Adhar cards of the candidate and parents have to be submitted. 8. The Candidates are informed that they have to pay the FEE on the day of admission itself. If the candidate fails to pay the Fee, the seat will be cancelled automatically without any notice. 9. The Candidates must attend in person and produce the original documents listed below along with 3 sets of Xerox copies duly attested at the time of interview to be conducted on a specified date and time failing which she / he will not be considered for admission. If the admission is offered, she/ he shall pay the fees immediately failing which she / he will forfeit the seat. The next candidate in the merit list will be considered for admission. ORIGINALS SHOULD BE PRODUCED AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION. 10. Fee once paid will not be refunded. 11. The candidate shall attend for interview on the prescribed date in the college to which he / she is selected for admission (As per the Selection / Intimation letter)

I. Instructions to the candidates while filling the application form online: a) Candidates have to read the prospectus carefully before online submission of application form. b) Admission is made on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying examination and also following the rule of reservation. c) The candidates has to first decide the college and the groups in the order of their preference before submitting the application on-line. d) The group in each college is given a code number. The candidate has to mark the correct code of the group of their preference in the application box. e) The candidate may select the next college and group, in the preference order, in case the candidate is not confident of admission into the college of first preference. f) The candidate shall exercise option carefully while choosing the college, course(s) and group(s). Illustration (i): In case the candidate is particular about a college eg: SGS Arts College and desires to join in any of the course / group to which he / she is eligible, the candidate should select the name of the college and then select the course(s) opted in the order of the preference in that college only. Illustration (ii): In case the candidate is particular about the courses/ groups irrespective of the college he /she should first select the college of their preference and also should select the courses and groups in the order of preference in the selected college. The candidate may select the next college, courses and groups in the same order in case he / she is not confident of admission in to the college of their first choice. g) It is mandatory to fill all the boxes given in the online application before submitting it online otherwise it will be treated invalid. h) The candidate has to provide the Aadhar Card number of self and the parents, in the online application, for the purpose of government fee reimbursement. (In case both parents are not alive, death certificate issued by competent authority should be produced during admission interview). 9

i) No application will be entertained after last date of submission of applications online. j) The selected candidate may download the selection / intimation letter from TTD website and bring the same at the time of Interview. J. Hostels:i. Limited hostel accommodation is available to the selected candidates. Students who are residing 25 Kilometers away from Tirupati are alone considered for hostel accommodation (Local area certificate along with distance from Tirupati has to be submitted) ii. Hostel facility is not available to women candidates selected for admission in S.V. Arts College, Tirupati and S.G.S. Arts College, Tirupati. iii. The fee for 2017-18 academic year is not yet fixed by S.V.University. The Students have to pay the fee as per University orders. iv. Getting seat in the Collee does not mean that Hostel seat is allotted.
