Supervise and coordinate the activities of child study team members and ensure the placement of individual students with special requirements into educational programs best suited for their specific needs.
•
3-5 years of Administrative experience preferred
•
Supervise and evaluate staff, maintain accurate and organized records.
•
Ensure and oversee compliance with all local, state and federal regulations regarding special education; meet all required timelines.
•
Demonstrate an ability to evaluate current programs and their effectiveness as well as an ability to determine the need for new programs and services.
•
Experience with and/or the ability to prepare the special education budget and state reports.
•
Familiarity with in-district scheduling and out-of-district placements
