When, Where, Why? The 1st Annual “Dodge for a Cause” Dodgeball Tournament will be held March 3, 2018 from 8:30am to 6:00pm at Washington High School. This year the proceeds will go to Iowa Donor Network – Jackson Family Fund. For more information, visit: www.JacksonFamilyFundraiser.com. Good to know… • We will use a Double Elimination Tournament Bracket where every team is guaranteed 2 games. • Each game will last 7 minutes. The game will end earlier if all players from one team are eliminated. At the end of 7 minutes, the team with the most players on the court wins. There will be a one-minute sudden death in the case of a tie. • All games will start with 6 players from each team. If a team has more than 6 players, the additional players will get into the game when your team catches a ball thrown by the opposing team (with no more than 6 players on the court at one time). • General schedule: o Middle school –8:30am to 11:00am o High school – 10:00am to 6:00pm o A more exact schedule will be available a few days before the tournament • MEDALS will be given to the top team in each division.
