DOODLE  4  GOOGLE  TEACHER  CONTEST   OFFICIAL  RULES     NO  PURCHASE  OR  PAYMENT  NECESSARY  TO  ENTER  OR  WIN.   A  PURCHASE  OR  PAYMENT  WILL  NOT  INCREASE  YOUR  CHANCES  OF  WINNING.     1.  ELIGIBILITY:    The  Doodle  4  Google  Teacher  Contest  (“Contest”)  is  a  trade  contest  offered   only  within  the  fifty  (50)  United  States  and  the  District  of  Columbia  (collectively,  “U.S.”)  and  open   only  to  legal  U.S.  residents  who  are  21  years  of  age  and  older  and  who  are  employed,  during   the  Contest  and  when  prizes  are  awarded,  as  full-­time  employees  at  a  public,  private,  or   parochial  school  in  the  U.S.  that  contains  students  in  any  grade  from  Kindergarten  through   Grade  12.  For  the  purposes  of  this  Contest,  home  schools  will  be  considered  eligible,  and  home   school  instructors  will  be  considered  “full-­time  employees”  of  the  applicable  home  school.   Employees  of  Discovery  Communications,  LLC  (“Sponsor”),  its  promotional  partner  Google  Inc.   (“Google”),  their  direct  and  indirect  respective  subsidiaries,  affiliates,  advertising  and  promotion   agencies  including  Promotion  Mechanics,  Inc.,  (collectively,  “Contest  Entities”)  and  the   immediate  family  members  (spouses  and  parents,  children  and  siblings  and  their  spouses,   regardless  of  where  they  live)  or  members  of  the  same  households  (whether  related  or  not)  of   such  individuals  are  not  eligible.  Eligibility  may  be  verified  by  Sponsor  at  any  time.  Any   determinations  of  eligibility  will  be  made  by  the  Sponsor  whose  decisions  are  final.  Void  outside   the  U.S.  and  where  prohibited.       Please  Note:    It  is  your  sole  responsibility  to  review  and  understand  your  employer's   policies  regarding  your  eligibility  to  participate  in  trade  promotions  such  as  this  Contest.   By  entering  the  Contest,  you  warrant  and  represent  that:    (A)  your  actions  do  not  violate   your  employer’s  policies  and  procedures;;  and  (B)  your  employer  has  full  knowledge  of   your  actions  and  has  consented  to  your  entry,  including  your  potential  participation  in   the  Grand  Prize  trip  as  described  below  in  Section  10.  Grand  Prize  trip  winner  is   responsible  for  making  his/her  own  time-­off  arrangements  with  his/her  employer;;  the   Contest  Entities  are  not  responsible  for  arranging  for  or  funding  time-­off  coverage  for  the   Grand  Prize  trip  winner.  The  Contest  Entities  hereby  disclaim  any  and  all  liability  or   responsibility  for  disputes  arising  between  an  employee  and  their  employer  related  to   this  Contest.     2.  ENTRY  PERIOD/CONTEST  DESCRIPTION:    The  Contest  begins  at  5:00:00  PM  Eastern   Time  (“ET”)  on  October  19,  2015  and  ends  at  5:00:00  PM  ET  on  November  19,  2015  (the  “Entry   Period”).  The  Contest  provides  an  opportunity  for  entrants  to  submit  an  original  photo  or  video   for  the  potential  opportunity  to  win  one  of  the  prizes  described  in  Section  10  below.  Entries  will   be  accepted  on  Twitter  in  accordance  with  these  Official  Rules  (free  Twitter  accounts  are   available  at  www.twitter.com).  Entries  must  adhere  to  all  requirements  set  forth  in  these  Official   Rules.  The  entrant  must  have  permission  in  writing  from  any  person(s)  appearing  in  an  entry   photo  or  video,  as  detailed  below  in  Section  7.  Entries  will  be  judged  by  Google’s  designated   judges  in  accordance  with  the  Judging  Criteria  set  forth  in  Section  9  below.    

3.  AGREEMENT  TO  OFFICIAL  RULES:    Participation  in  the  Contest  constitutes  entrant’s  full   and  unconditional  agreement  to  and  acceptance  of  these  Official  Rules  and  the  decisions  of  the   Contest  Entities  and  judges,  which  are  final  and  binding.  Winning  is  contingent  upon  fulfilling  all   requirements  set  forth  herein.  Any  entrant  may  be  disqualified  in  Sponsor’s  sole  discretion  if   he/she  fails  to  comply  with  any  of  the  terms  of  these  Official  Rules.       4.  TO  ENTER  THE  CONTEST:    Prior  to  entering  the  Contest,  if  you  do  not  have  a  Twitter   account,  you  must  create  one  at  www.twitter.com,  and  agree  to  all  applicable  terms  at  that  site.   There  is  no  fee  or  charge  to  become  a  registered  user  of  Twitter.  Twitter  is  not  a  sponsor  of,  and   does  not  endorse,  this  Contest.  To  enter  the  Contest,  first  create  an  original  photo  or  video   (video  must  be  between  15  and  30  seconds  in  length)  which  shows  either:    (a)  how  you  will   inspire  your  students  to  participate  in  the  Doodle  4  Google  Competition:    or  (b)  how  your   students  have  been  inspired  by  the  Doodle  4  Google  Competition.  Videos  that  are  fewer  than  15   seconds  or  more  than  30  seconds  in  length  will  be  disqualified.  Please  refer  to  Sections  5-­7   below  for  more  details  regarding  the  requirements  for  your  entry,  and  to  the  judging  criteria  in   Section  9.  Once  your  photo  or  video  is  complete,  access  your  Twitter  account  and  “tweet”  your   photo  or  video  including  the  hashtag  #d4gteachercontest,  prior  to  the  end  of  the  Entry  Period.   Video  and/or  photo  file  formats  must  adhere  to  Twitter  specifications.  In  order  for  your  entry  to   be  considered  for  judging,  you  must  maintain  your  Twitter  account  in  good  standing  and  your   entry  “tweet”  must  remain  publicly  viewable  through  December  31,  2015.     Each  qualifying  photo  or  video  (each,  an  “Entry”)  must  be  posted  no  later  than  5:00:00  PM  ET   on  November  19,  2015.  Limit  one  (1)  Entry  per  person/Twitter  account.  The  same  Entry  may   only  be  entered  in  the  Contest  once.  Duplicate  Entries  will  be  void.  Any  attempt  by  a  person  to   use  multiple  accounts  or  identities  to  gain  more  Entries  than  permitted  by  these  Official  Rules   shall  result  in  disqualification  at  the  discretion  of  the  judges  or  Sponsor.  Multiple  entrants  are  not   permitted  to  share  the  same  Twitter  account.  Sponsor  is  under  no  obligation  to  correspond   about  Entries,  nor  is  Sponsor  required  to  acknowledge  its  receipt  of  Entries.  Proof  of  submission   of  Entry  does  not  constitute  proof  of  receipt  of  Entry.  In  the  event  of  a  dispute  as  to  the  identity   of  the  entrant  associated  with  any  Entry,  the  authorized  account  holder  of  the  Twitter  account   associated  with  the  Entry,  at  time  of  submission,  will  be  deemed  the  entrant.  The  “authorized   account  holder”  is  the  natural  person  assigned  to  the  Twitter  account  by  Twitter.  Potential   winner  may  be  required  to  show  proof  of  being  the  authorized  account  holder.  Normal  Internet   access  and  usage  charges  imposed  by  your  online  service  will  apply.  If  you  participate  from   your  mobile  phone,  such  activity  will  be  subject  to  the  charges  pursuant  to  your  wireless  service   provider’s  rate  plan.  You  further  understand  that  by  participating  via  mobile  phone,  if  you  are  a   potential  winner,  the  Sponsor  may  contact  you  via  mobile  phone,  which  will  be  subject  to  the   charges  pursuant  to  your  wireless  service  provider’s  rate  plan.  Please  consult  your  wireless   service  provider  for  more  information.  In  addition  to  compliance  with  these  Official  Rules,  all   participation  must  also  comply  with  the  terms  of  service  at  https://twitter.com/tos.  Further,  note   your  Entry  cannot  be  judged  if  your  Twitter  account  settings  prevent  Sponsor  from  seeing  your   Entry.    

5.  ENTRY  REQUIREMENTS:    Any  elements  that  appear  in  an  Entry,  including,  without   limitation,  brand  names,  music,  logos,  or  images,  must  be  either:    (a)  entirely  original,  created   by  the  entrant;;  (b)  property  of  Google;;  or  (c)  in  the  public  domain.  Use  of  any  other  elements   may  result  in  disqualification  of  an  Entry,  in  the  Sponsor’s  sole  discretion.  Entries  should  not   contain  personally  identifiable  information  such  as  home  addresses,  phone  numbers,  or  email   addresses.  Entrants  must  not  engage  in  any  violent,  dangerous,  or  illegal  behavior  in  creating   an  Entry.  Entries  must  not  contain  inappropriate  content,  including  but  not  limited  to  vulgarity,   obscenity,  lewd,  pornographic  or  violent  material,  or  materials  which  promote  hate  or  violence.   Entries  must  not  defame,  misrepresent  or  contain  disparaging  remarks  about  Sponsor  or  its   products,  or  other  people,  products  or  companies.  Entries  must  not  defame  or  invade  the   privacy  or  publicity  rights  of  any  person,  living  or  deceased,  or  otherwise  infringe  upon  a   person's  personal  or  proprietary  rights.  Entries  that  do  not  include  all  required  information  and   do  not  adhere  to  the  foregoing  and  following  requirements  or  are  deemed  to  be  immoral,   obscene,  profane  or  not  in  keeping  with  Sponsor's  image  (all  as  determined  by  Sponsor  in  its   sole  discretion)  will  be  considered  void  and  will  not  be  considered  for  judging  in  this  Contest.   Google  retains  all  rights  in  the  Google  products  and  services  and  entry  into  this  Contest  will  in   no  case  serve  to  transfer  any  Google  intellectual  property  rights  to  the  entrant.     6.  ENTRANT’S  REPRESENTATIONS:    By  participating  in  the  Contest,  you  represent  and   warrant  that:    (a)  you  are  the  creator  of  the  Entry;;  (b)  the  Entry  is  wholly  original  (apart  from  any   allowable  public  domain  elements  or  property  of  Google);;  (c)  the  Entry  does  not  infringe  the   intellectual  property,  privacy  or  publicity  rights  or  any  other  legal  or  moral  rights  of  any  third   party;;  and  (d)  the  Entry  has  not  previously  been  entered  in  any  other  contest  or  promotion.     7.  ENTRY  PERMISSIONS:    By  participating  in  the  Contest,  you  further  represent  and  warrant   that:    (a)  you  have  obtained  written  permission  from  each  person  (and  if  under  age  18,   permission  from  such  person’s  parent  or  legal  guardian)  whose  image  or  likeness  (“Likeness”)  is   included  in  the  Entry;;  (b)  if  you  are  not  the  person  who  took  the  applicable  photo/video,  you   have  obtained  written  permission  from  the  person  who  took  the  applicable  photo/video  and  such   person(s)  have  granted  all  necessary  rights  to  use  the  applicable  photo/video;;  and  (c)  that  you   can  and  will  give  written  copies  of  such  permissions  to  the  Sponsor  upon  request.  A   Subject/Photographer/Videographer  Release  is  included  at  the  bottom  of  these  Official  Rules  for   your  use  in  obtaining  such  permissions  (you  may  copy  and  paste  the  release  form  text  into  a   blank  word  processing  document  in  order  to  print  the  number  of  forms  you  may  need).  Sponsor   reserves  the  right  to  request  proofs  of  these  signed  Subject/Photographer/Videographer   Release  documents  at  any  point  in  time,  and  such  documents  may  be  required  in  order  to  be   deemed  a  winner.  Failure  to  provide  said  proof  may  result  in  disqualification  of  the  Entry  from   the  Contest.  Sponsor's  determination  as  to  whether  any  Entry  potentially  violates  the  rights  of   any  third  party  is  final.  Submitting  an  Entry  that  is  copyrighted  by  another  individual  will  make   you  responsible  for  any  legal  action  the  legal  copyright  holder  might  take  against  you.     8.  RIGHTS  TO  ENTRIES:    By  participating  in  the  Contest,  you  grant  the  Sponsor,  Google  and   their  affiliated  companies  the  unconditional  (subject  only  to  any  applicable  rights  of  Twitter)  and   perpetual  right  and  permission  to  reproduce,  encode,  store,  copy,  transmit,  publish,  post,  

broadcast,  display,  publicly  perform,  edit,  adapt,  modify,  create  derivative  works  of,  exhibit,  and   otherwise  use  the  Entry  or  part  thereof  (with  or  without  using  your  name)  in  any  media   throughout  the  world  for  any  purpose,  without  limitation,  and  without  additional  review,   compensation,  or  approval  from  you  or  any  other  party.  Without  limiting  the  foregoing,  Sponsor   reserves  the  right  to  post  an  online  gallery  of  Entries  selected  in  its  sole  discretion.  Should   Sponsor  edit  your  Entry  for  purposes  of  re-­use,  you  are  not  relieved  from  responsibility  for   compliance  with  these  Official  Rules.  You  agree  that,  upon  request  by  the  Sponsor,  you  will  sign   a  copyright  assignment.  By  participating,  you  further  agree  not  to  instigate,  support,  maintain,  or   authorize  any  action,  claim,  or  lawsuit  against  the  Released  Parties  (as  defined  below),  or  any   other  person  or  entity,  on  the  grounds  that  any  use  of  the  Entry,  or  any  derivative  works,   infringes  any  of  your  rights,  including,  without  limitation,  copyrights  and  moral  rights.  You  further   acknowledge  that,  unless  specified  otherwise  herein,  the  Sponsor  is  in  no  way  obligated  to   broadcast,  publish  or  use  your  Entry  in  any  way.  Nothing  herein  shall  constitute  an  employment,   joint  venture,  or  partnership  relationship  between  you  and  the  Sponsor  or  Google.  In  no  way  are   you  to  be  construed  as  the  agent  or  to  be  acting  as  the  agent  of  the  Sponsor  or  Google.     9.  CONTEST  JUDGING:    On  or  by  December  15,  2015,  all  eligible  Entries  will  be  judged  by   Google’s  designated  judges  using  the  following  criteria:    (A)  Creativity  (40%);;  Content  (40%);;   and  Presentation  (20%)  (the  “Judging  Criteria”).  In  the  event  of  a  tie,  the  tie  will  be  broken  based   on  the  highest  Creativity  score.  The  judges’  decisions  are  final  and  binding.  The  one  (1)   participant  whose  Entry  scores  highest  will  be  deemed  the  Grand  Prize  winner,  pending   verification  of  eligibility  and  continued  compliance  with  these  Official  Rules.  Once  the  Grand   Prize  winning  Entry  is  determined,  the  four  (4)  participants  whose  Entries  score  next  highest  will   be  deemed  Runner-­Up  Prize  winners,  pending  verification  of  eligibility  and  continued   compliance  with  these  Official  Rules.  If  an  insufficient  number  of  qualified  Entries  is  received,   Sponsor  reserves  the  right  to  award  fewer  than  the  stated  number  of  prizes.       10.  PRIZES:         One  (1)  Grand  Prize  will  be  made  available,  consisting  of  a  two  (2)  night  trip  for  winner  and  one   (1)  guest  to  Mountain  View,  California,  and  a  visit  to  Google  Headquarters,  including:    round  trip   coach  air  travel  for  winner  and  one  (1)  guest  to  the  Mountain  View,  California  area  from  the   major  gateway  airport  closest  to  winner’s  residence;;  double  occupancy  hotel  accommodations   for  two  (2)  nights;;  certain  meals  and  activities;;  ground  transportation  between  destination   airport,  hotel,  and  activities;;  and  $1,000  awarded  in  the  form  of  a  check  made  payable  to  the   winner  to  be  used  for  classroom  supplies.  Any  prize  details  not  specified  herein  shall  be   determined  by  Sponsor  in  its  sole  discretion.  Airports,  airlines,  hotel,  and  any  other  elements  of   the  Grand  Prize  will  be  selected  by  Sponsor  in  its  sole  discretion.  The  total  approximate  retail   value  of  the  Grand  Prize  is  $2,500.  Actual  value  may  vary  based  on  fare  fluctuations  and  point   of  departure.  The  winner  will  not  receive  cash  or  any  other  form  of  compensation  if  actual  travel   costs  are  less  than  the  estimate  made  in  these  Official  Rules.  Trip  must  be  taken  on  dates   selected  by  Sponsor  in  its  sole  discretion,  currently  anticipated  to  occur  before  September  1,   2016,  or  prize  will  be  forfeited  in  its  entirety.  All  travel  is  subject  to  approval  of  Sponsor.  Winner   and  guest  must  travel  on  the  same  itinerary  and  will  be  responsible  for  all  necessary  travel  

authorizations  and  documents  (including  government  issued  picture  identification  and/or   passport  with  necessary  validity,  as  required).  For  the  avoidance  of  doubt,  round  trip  coach  air   travel  is  limited  to  one  plane  seat  per  traveler.  Airline  tickets  are  non-­refundable/non-­ transferable  and  are  not  valid  for  upgrades  and/or  frequent  flyer  miles.  All  airline  tickets  are   subject  to  flight  variation,  work  stoppages,  and  schedule  or  route  changes.  Sponsor  reserves   the  right  to  structure  travel  route  and  select  accommodations  in  its  sole  and  absolute  discretion.   Sponsor  shall  not  be  responsible  for  any  cancellations,  delays,  diversions  or  substitution  or  any   act  or  omissions  whatsoever  by  the  air  carriers,  hotels,  venue  operators,  transportation   companies,  prize  providers  or  any  other  persons  providing  any  prize-­related  services  or   accommodations.  No  refund  or  compensation  will  be  made  in  the  event  of  the  cancellation  or   delay  of  any  transportation  or  other  prize  element  except  at  the  sole  and  absolute  discretion  of   Sponsor.  Prize  winner  and  guest  are  also  responsible  for  obtaining  travel  insurance  (and  all   other  forms  of  insurance)  at  their  option  and  expense,  and  hereby  acknowledge  that  Sponsor   has  not  and  will  not  obtain  or  provide  travel  insurance  or  any  other  form  of  insurance.  The   winner  may  be  required  to  provide  a  credit  card  at  the  time  of  hotel  check-­in,  to  cover  room   security  and  incidentals.  Guest  of  winner  must  be  at  least  eighteen  (18)  years  of  age  as  of  the   date  of  departure,  unless  guest  is  the  child  or  legal  ward  of  the  winner.  Guest  of  winner  must   execute  liability/publicity  releases  prior  to  issuance  of  travel  documents,  which  must  be  co-­ signed  by  the  winner  if  guest  is  under  age  eighteen  (18)  at  the  time  of  departure.  Once  a  guest   is  selected,  he/she  may  not  be  substituted,  except  in  Sponsor's  sole  and  absolute  discretion.   Lost,  stolen  or  damaged  airline  tickets,  travel  vouchers  or  certificates  will  not  be  replaced  or   exchanged.  All  expenses  not  specifically  included  as  part  of  the  prize,  are  not  included  as  part   of  any  prize  package,  and  are  solely  the  winner’s  responsibility,  including,  but  not  limited  to:     additional  ground  transportation,  travel  insurance,  room  service,  bag  check  fees,  parking  fees,   laundry  service,  additional  meals,  merchandise,  souvenirs,  telephone  calls,  tips,  gratuities  and   service  charges.  Transportation  carrier  and  hotel  regulations  and  conditions  apply.  In  the  event   a  prize  winner  (and/or  his  or  her  guest)  engage  in  behavior  that  (as  determined  by  Sponsor  or   any  prize  provider  in  its  or  their  sole  and  absolute  discretion)  is  obnoxious,  inappropriate,   threatening,  illegal  or  that  is  intended  to  annoy,  abuse,  threaten  or  harass  any  other  person,   Sponsor  reserves  the  right  to  terminate  the  trip  or  other  applicable  experience  early.  See   Section  11  below  for  winner  notification  details  and  additional  prize  restrictions.     By  accepting  a  travel  prize,  winner  and  guest  represent  that  they  understand  that  travel,   whether  by  plane,  automobile,  or  other  conveyance,  or  by  foot,  and  in  the  air,  contains  some   inherent  element  of  risk  of  accident,  illness,  injury,  loss  or  death,  which  may  be  caused  by   negligence,  forces  of  nature,  or  other  agencies,  known  or  unknown.    The  winner  and  guest   further  represent  that  they  recognize  that  such  risks  may  be  present  at  any  time  before,  during   and  after  the  trip.  In  order  to  be  considered  a  travel  prize  winner  and  partake  of  the  enjoyment  of   this  trip,  the  winner  and  guest  must  be  willing  to  accept  the  risk,  and  to  confirm  their  acceptance   to  such  risk  in  writing  at  Sponsor's  request.     Four  (4)  Runner-­up  Prizes  will  be  made  available,  each  consisting  of  $1,000  awarded  in  the   form  of  a  check  made  payable  to  the  winner  to  be  used  for  classroom  supplies.  See  Section  11   below  for  winner  notification  details  and  additional  prize  restrictions.  

  11.  WINNER  NOTIFICATION  AND  GENERAL  PRIZE  RESTRICTIONS:    Each  potential  winner   will  be  notified  via  a  direct  message  on  Twitter,  and  must  allow  for  Sponsor  or  Sponsor’s   designee  to  contact  him/her  via  direct  message,  to  verify  his/her  eligibility  and  ability  to  accept   the  prize,  and  to  obtain  his/her  complete  contact  information.  It  is  recommended  that  entrants   confirm  that  their  Twitter  notification  settings  are  turned  on,  such  that  they  would  be  notified  in  a   timely  fashion  of  such  an  attempt  to  contact  them  via  Twitter.  Any  such  message  will  instruct  the   potential  winner  to  reply  within  three  (3)  full  business  days  (measured  in  the  local  time  zone)   after  the  time  that  the  notification  message  or  comment  was  sent.  Potential  winner  must  reply  as   instructed  to  identify  him/herself,  confirm  his/her  eligibility  and  ability  to  accept  the  prize,  and   provide  his/her  complete  contact  information  within  such  three  (3)  full  business  day  period,  or   he/she  will  be  disqualified.  In  Sponsor’s  sole  discretion,  a  potential  winner  may  only  be  notified   one  time  as  set  forth  above  for  attempted  prize  notification.  The  potential  winner  will   subsequently  be  required  to  complete  a  notarized  affidavit  of  eligibility,  a  liability  release,  a   copyright  assignment,  and  (where  legal)  a  publicity  release,  and  any  other  releases  or   documentation  deemed  necessary  for  Sponsor  and  Google’s  intended  use  of  the  winning  Entry,   which  must  be  returned  within  the  time  period  specified  by  Sponsor  at  the  time  of  such  request.   Proof  of  identity,  age,  and  legal  residence  may  be  required  to  claim  a  prize.  Any  winner  or   potential  winner  may  be  disqualified  in  Sponsor’s  sole  discretion  if:    (a)  he/she  fails  to  reply  or  to   provide  any  required  information  or  properly  completed  documents  within  the  required  time   period;;  (b)  he/she  fails  to  comply  with  any  of  the  terms  of  these  Official  Rules;;  or  (c)  if  any  prize   or  prize  notification  is  returned  as  undeliverable.  In  the  event  of  disqualification  of  a  winner,  at   Sponsor’s  sole  discretion  the  prize  may  be  awarded  to  an  alternate  winner  selected  from  among   the  remaining  applicable  eligible  Entries  via  the  means  of  winner  determination  described   herein,  pending  verification  of  eligibility.  No  responsibility  is  assumed  by  Sponsor  for  any   incorrect  or  missing  social  media  account  information,  postal  address,  email  address  or  phone   number  associated  with  an  Entry,  or  any  change  of  address,  email,  social  media  account  or   phone  number  of  entrant  after  Entry  submission.  Any  prize  details  not  specified  will  be   determined  by  Sponsor  in  its  sole  discretion.  No  prize  transfer.  Unless  otherwise  specified   herein,  no  prize  substitution  will  be  allowed  except  at  Sponsor’s  sole  discretion  due  to   unavailability,  safety  or  security  considerations,  or  any  other  reason  as  solely  determined  by   Sponsor,  in  which  case  a  prize  of  comparable  or  greater  value  will  be  awarded.  All  other  costs   and  expenses  associated  with  acceptance  and  use  of  a  prize  not  specified  herein  as  being   awarded  are  the  sole  responsibility  of  the  applicable  winner.     12.  GENERAL  CONDITIONS:    In  the  event  that  the  operation,  security,  or  administration  of  the   Contest  is  impaired  in  any  way  for  any  reason,  including,  but  not  limited  to  fraud,  virus,  or  other   technical  problem,  the  Sponsor  may,  in  its  sole  discretion,  either:    (a)  suspend  the  Contest  to   address  the  impairment  and  then  resume  the  Contest  in  a  manner  that  best  conforms  to  the   spirit  of  these  Official  Rules;;  (b)  award  the  prizes  from  among  the  eligible  Entries  received  up  to   the  time  of  the  impairment;;  or  (c)  to  proceed  in  such  a  manner  as  may  be  deemed  fair  and   equitable  by  Sponsor  in  its  sole  discretion.  The  Sponsor  reserves  the  right  in  its  sole  discretion   to  disqualify  any  individual  it  finds  to  be  tampering  with  the  entry  process  or  the  operation  of  the   Contest  or  to  be  acting  in  violation  of  these  Official  Rules  or  in  an  unsportsmanlike  or  disruptive  

manner,  and  to  disqualify  any  Entries  or  votes  submitted  by  such  an  individual.  CAUTION:    ANY   ATTEMPT  BY  A  PARTICIPANT  OR  ANY  OTHER  INDIVIDUAL  TO  DELIBERATELY  DAMAGE   THE  CONTEST  SITE  OR  UNDERMINE  THE  LEGITIMATE  OPERATION  OF  THE  CONTEST   MAY  BE  A  VIOLATION  OF  CRIMINAL  AND  CIVIL  LAWS  AND  SHOULD  SUCH  AN  ATTEMPT   BE  MADE,  SPONSOR  RESERVES  THE  RIGHT  TO  SEEK  DAMAGES  FROM  ANY  SUCH   PERSON  TO  THE  FULLEST  EXTENT  PERMITTED  BY  LAW.  The  Sponsor’s  failure  to  enforce   any  term  of  these  Official  Rules  shall  not  constitute  a  waiver  of  that  provision.     13.  RELEASE  AND  LIMITATIONS  OF  LIABILITY:    By  participating  in  the  Contest,  you  agree  to   release,  discharge  and  hold  harmless  Sponsor,  Google,  Inc.,  Twitter,  and  their  respective   parents,  subsidiaries,  affiliates,  advertising/promotion  agencies  including  Promotion  Mechanics,   Inc.,  and  promotional  suppliers,  together  with  the  respective  officers,  directors,  employees,  and   agents  of  each  (aforementioned  organizations  and  individuals  collectively,  the  “Released   Parties”)  from  and  against  any  claim  or  cause  of  action  arising  out  of  participation  in  the  Contest   or  receipt  or  use/misuse  of  any  prize,  including,  but  not  limited  to:    (a)  unauthorized  human   intervention  in  the  Contest;;  (b)  technical  errors  related  to  computers,  servers,  providers,  or   telephone  or  network  lines;;  (c)  printing  errors  or  any  errors  made  in  the  advertisement  of  the   Contest;;  (d)  lost,  late,  postage-­due,  misdirected,  or  undeliverable  mail;;  (e)  errors  in  the   administration  of  the  Contest  or  the  processing  of  Entries;;  (f)  injury  or  damage  to  persons  or   property  which  may  be  caused,  directly  or  indirectly,  in  whole  or  in  part,  from  entrant’s   participation  in  the  Contest  or  participation  in  a  prize;;  or  (g)  any  condition  caused  by  events   beyond  the  control  of  the  Sponsor  that  may  cause  the  Contest  to  be  disrupted  or  corrupted.  You   further  agree  that  in  any  cause  of  action,  the  Released  Parties’  liability  will  be  limited  to  the  cost   of  entering  and  participating  in  the  Contest,  and  in  no  event  shall  the  Released  Parties  be  liable   for  attorney’s  fees.  You  hereby  waive  the  right  to  claim  any  damages  whatsoever,  including,  but   not  limited  to,  punitive,  consequential,  direct,  or  indirect  damages.  Released  Parties  expressly   disclaim  any  responsibility  or  liability  for  injury  or  loss  to  any  person  or  property  resulting  from   the  Contest  or  relating  to  the  delivery  and/or  subsequent  use  or  misuse  of  any  award.     14.  INDEMNITY:    You  agree  to  indemnify  and  hold  the  Released  Parties  harmless  from  any  and   all  claims,  damages,  expenses,  costs  (including  reasonable  attorneys'  fees)  and  liabilities   (including  settlements),  brought  or  asserted  by  any  third  party  against  any  of  the  Released   Parties  due  to  or  arising  out  of  your  Entry,  or  your  conduct  in  creating  an  Entry  or  otherwise  in   connection  with  this  Contest,  including  but  not  limited  to:    claims  for  trademark  infringement;;   copyright  infringement;;  violation  of  an  individual’s  right  of  publicity  or  right  of  privacy;;  or   defamation.       15.  PUBLICITY:    By  submitting  an  Entry,  you  grant  to  Sponsor  and  its  affiliated  companies  the   right,  except  where  prohibited  by  law,  to  use  your  name,  likeness,  picture,  address  (city  and   state),  voice,  biographical  information,  Entry  and  written  or  oral  statements,  for  advertising  and   promotional  purposes  in  promoting  or  publicizing  the  Contest,  Sponsor,  its  affiliated  companies,   and  the  products  or  services  of  each,  in  any  and  all  media  without  limitation  as  to  time  or   territory,  without  compensation  unless  required  by  law.  You  shall  have  no  right  of  approval,  no   claim  to  compensation,  and  no  claim  (including,  without  limitation,  claims  based  on  invasion  of
