Chairman’s Remarks. Jean declared the meeting open at 7.35pm and welcomed the new members. She thanked everybody for their assistance with the Gateway events, which had put Bowmen of Lyme on a sounder financial footing and she wished everybody a good years’ shooting in what would be Lyme's first under the Management of the National Trust.

Secretary’s Report. Robert Hadfield thanked Noel Henry for his assistance in the successful negotiations with the National Trust, the correspondence for which took over six months before the licence was signed. Robert also thanked everyone for their assistance with the Gateway and requested that the Club discuss our collective commitment and the financial necessity prior to further participation in such events.

The Treasurer Noel Henry explained the accounts that had been audited by David Dyson. Reduced membership in 1994 resulted in a paper loss of £87.00, however the profit of £1,187.40 from the Gateway events increased our current assets to £2,165.80

The Field Captain, David Palmer, thanked everyone for helping at the work party and reminded everyone of the safety rules when restarting shooting following a change of range.

The Record Officer, Paul Alexander, congratulated everyone on their scores for the year and reminded the members that score sheets needed to be fully completed otherwise the score would be null and void. Jean Martin handed out the following awards and certificates for the 1994 season. Long standing Club Members who (for whatever reason) are not currently shooting regularly but still wish to be participate in Club activities, Have-agoes etc. where G.N.A.S. Membership is pre-requisite.
Duration:
1 Year – nominations (& re-nominations) required one month prior to A.G.M.
Fee:
Equal to previous years’ G.N.A.S. Membership fee.

Noel Henry circulated the sample cards prepared by Keith Garside. There was a general preference for the ‘Green Card’

It was agreed to complete the Car Park now that the licence agreement was signed.
iii)
The shooting line was showing signs of wear during the winter months and additional drainage may be required.
iv)
We agreed Priestnall Schools request to use the archery field during the weekdays of 3rd – 7th July 1995. Our agreement to the request curtails any daytime shooting for members during that week but does not affect the evening shoots.

The members at the meeting gave commitment to support 5 days at Lyme and one ‘away’ day if there was a requirement.
