COURSE REQUIREMENTS 1. Complete the orientation quiz and information sheet for 5 extra credit points added to the total of your exam scores. 2. Read the text book chapters. 3. Complete the assigned projects. 4. This class requires class participation. Students will be rewarded for the quality of that participation as it makes the class more enjoyable and valuable for all. 5. Students are highly encouraged to keep up and on schedule. Extra credit projects may be given if requested or extra credit may be given as a sign of effort (at the discretion of instructor). 6. Students are required to get the help they need in a timely fashion (do not wait till the end of the semester). If for some reason, your messages are not returned in a timely manner, it is up to you to follow up and get help. Make sure you include your name, section number and the name of your class in all communications. Sometimes my schedule is hectic so don’t waste time waiting, call again if you don’t get the help you need.

Student Learning Outcomes/Learning Objectives This course is a study of business ethics and their effects on society. These social responsibilities in management due to the public concern over topics such as equal opportunity in employment, quality of work life, ecological concerns, public confidence in our financial systems, and consumerism. Topics address ethical issues, the development of a moral frame of reference and the need for an awareness of social justices in management practices and business activities. A review of ethical responsibilities and relationships between organizational departments, divisions, executive management, and the public.
