Penny Social & Silent Auction Items: They are coming in but we need more. Please contact everyone and anyone you purchase anything from to donate a gift certificate, item, or service with a value of $10 or more. Ticket Sales: They are going slow and steady as usual so whatever you can do to help us increase the pace of ticket sales is appreciated. Please note that the earlier tickets are purchased, ideally we have sold out with a $1,000 attendee tickets purchased by April 16th this year and much earlier, e.g., by the end of Early Bird Adult Ticket Sales in future years, we can make the Annual Greenburgh Taste Off experience even better than it has been. Woodlands Class of 2018 (Will receive 10% of the Net Proceeds): With the assistance of the Key Club & LASO they are off to a great start in helping to promote the 8th Annual Greenburgh Taste Off and sell tickets. Student leadership of this event may be the key to the longevity of the 8th Annual Greenburgh Taste Off. Also they will be recommending Morning announcements. Sponsors: We are having our best year and receiving the greatest support from sponsors. There are eight (8) $500 Player Sponsors and six (6) $250 Fan Sponsors to date. We hope you, you and your friends, your class, or organization will join them by being a $250 Fan Sponsor. Honorees: All of our Honorees have been contacted and four (4) or more of the six (6) are expected to be in attendance to date. On-Site Restaurants/Caterers: Eighteen (18) Restaurants & Caterers have already committed to participating on site to date. On-Site Businesses: Eighteen (18) Business have now committed to be on site to date On-Site Participation: Based on last year’s floor plan we are SOLD OUT in advance for the third year in a row. LBCC (Lois Bronz Children’s Center will receive 10% of the Net Proceeds): They are helping by selling a minimum of twenty five (25) tickets and providing two (2) Adult Volunteers that have purchased tickets. We will ask to have the names of the Adult Volunteers by Noon, April 16th. WMHS PTSA (Will receive 10% of the Net Proceeds): They are helping by providing ten (10) Adult Volunteers that have purchased tickets. We will ask to have the names of the Adult Volunteers by Noon, April 16th.
#8th AGTO Marketing Online promotion is ongoing. Please spread the word using email and all of you social media options. 5,000 Post Card Flyers have been purchased and are being distributed. The School Newspaper is including the Post Card flyer and is open to an article for the next edition, e.g., “What’s the Annual Greenburgh Taste Off All About?” We are taking better advantage of the Annual Greenburgh Taste Off Commercial by adding it to the eventbrite.com page, Facebook, and future online postings to be completed shortly. The Annual Greenburgh Taste Leadership Team, Alumni Team, & Supports will be at the Tuesday, March 20th School Board Meeting @ 7:45 PM Eventbrite.com Webpage & Other Online Sites… 11*17 & 18*24 Posters have been ordered and distribution will start ASAP Car Magnets have been ordered and will be distributed shortly. #8th AGTO Volunteers LASO, Key Club, & Senior Class Student Volunteers o Each of these three (3) student organizations will provide Four (4) Volunteers each for Friday, April 27th from 3 PM – 6 PM Forty Five (15) Volunteers each for Saturday, April 28th from 10:30 AM – 3:30 PM Ms. Stellato has agreed to managing the Student Volunteers We are requesting that Mr. Gary Stelloto again take photo’s at the 8th Annual Greenburgh Taste Off primarily for the Alumni Team. Mr. Stephen Morton has already agreed The Woodlands PTSA has committed to providing ten (10) adult volunteers The Lois Bronze Children’s Center (LBCC) has committed to providing two (2) adult volunteers.
