What is the YAM Retreat? WHO: The Young Adult Ministry (YAM) serves adults ages 21–39. This ministry seeks to encourage and equip young adults to grow and strengthen their relationship with God as well as to help create and grow connections of young adults to the body of Christ. WHAT: This will be a weekend getaway retreat where Young Adults from across our church community will share in a Friday night spiritual experience with a special guest speaker, Saturday fellowship, enrichment, and fun activities, and a moving Sunday worship experience.

1. How much does the retreat cost? It depends on your room selection! All deposits are $90. $235 for a quad room for you and your squad. *Quad rooms consist of two beds, if you make this selection, you will be sharing a bed. You should communicate your roommate selections to
[email protected] and via registration. $265 for a double room registration. $325 for a single room registration. *Price includes transportation, Friday Dinner, Saturday breakfast, lunch & dinner, Sunday breakfast &lunch
2. Can I bring my friends who aren’t members? Yes! There are limited spaces for non-ASBC members so register quickly to reserve your guest spots!
3. How do I register? Easy! Click the link: YAM Retreat Registration Link (Scroll Down to Bottom Right) Link not working? Go to alfredstreet.org, click “Activities and Events” on the left ribbon and then select “Forms and Registration,” and then click “YAM Retreat”
4. When are payments due? All deposits of $90 are due by April 7th. One half of the remaining payment is due June 8th and the final payment is due by July 24th. Please mark these dates in your calendar!
5. What if I have dietary restrictions? We would like for everyone to have an equal opportunity to eat and fellowship during our group dining experiences. If you have dietary restrictions, please indicate them when prompted on your online registration form. We will be sure to have the vegetarian, gluten-free, and other options you may indicate as our vendor options permit.
6. What if I have a special medical concern? We want all of our young adult brothers and sisters to be a part of this retreat experience. Please indicate any further accommodations or needs you may have during registration or please email them to the YAM email:

7. What do I need to bring? As the YAM Retreat leadership team brings together new and exciting elements to this year’s retreat, we aim to help you pack light! Wisp Resort (www.wispresort.com) has an amazing variety of outdoor activities and our team will provide a detailed packing list to all registrants with more than enough time to prepare!
8. What is the itinerary for the weekend? Friday Evening-Kick-Off event and Opening Spiritual Session with Guest Speaker at ASBC Saturday- 6am, Travel to WISP Resort, Spiritual Session, Fellowship & Fun, Free Time, Dinner, Night Activity Sunday-Morning worship experience, lunch, departure at 12pm *Registrants will receive a more detailed itinerary prior to the retreat 2
9. Can I room with members of the opposite sex? WISP resort charges per guest rather than room. If you and your partner are married, you are welcome to register in a single or double occupancy room. Because WISP charges per person, double occupancy is a more cost-effective option than single occupancy. All rooms will be booked in same gender configurations outside of this exception.
10. Can I bring my kids? YAM loves the kids, but sorry, this retreat will be Young Adults only. We, unfortunately cannot provide childcare and we will not be able to accommodate children in any of our scheduled activities.
11. What if I am over 39 and would like to come? Because there are a limited amount of spots on this retreat, we will base preference on the official YAM age range (18-39) to allow for those in this season of life to experience the retreat. We would love, however, for you to join us on 3rd Fridays for other exciting opportunities and we don’t check ID!
12. What if I want to come but can’t attend the whole retreat? We understand that Young Adults often have busy schedules and a full weekend retreat may be challenging! You are still welcome to register, however, alternative transportation will not be provided and registration cannot be broken up by event. The Friday night event is also an official part of the YAM retreat package even though it is at ASBC and all guests must be registered to attend.
