Want to find out more? Please download the Academic handbook from the Veracross parent portal for the DP section
What is used to generate reports/grades ?
Teachers assign and assess tasks to gauge students knowledge, understanding or skills in a topic and to measure progress against DP objectives. Teachers use formative assessment (qualitative feedback) and summative assessment(scores/marks) to ensure student is accurately informed of progress and next steps in the focus area
How are students grades generated?
Cumulative semester grade based on work produced by student. Each semester students receive an IB style grade (1-7) based on a percentage score. Highest score is 43 points for subjects.
