Okay, that should be all you need to perform the song. It's the way it was written and how to remember it. However, for all the players who insist on TABing every note...

Following TAB includes all required parts without repeats. There are differences in the recorded version because the final 'take' is not a perfect performance - there are several instances where the open 3rd-string is played on the last eighth during fingering changes. These nuances have been needlessly notated in official publications and duplicated in 'stolen' versions leading to hundreds of amateur players desperately attempting to emulate somebody else's mistakes. Most ludicrous of these is the G-note on the last eighth of Am(add2) previously notated as a pull-off on the 4th-string. While it is far more likely to be the open 3rd-string as stated above, it does not occur in the repeats and is obviously unintentional. Re-positioning the left-hand precisely on Beat-1 (while open-strings are picked) provides time for all notes to sound throughout this section. Similarly, an alternate fingering of D/F# keeping the ring-finger on the 3rd-string will allow the Am-chords to continue through the bar. F(#11)/A Open 2nd-string adds a chromatic note to the F/A chord. Its proximity to the fifth and the progression to the sixth make #4 a more meaningful name than #11. Also observe that the B-note is REPLACED by the D-note forming F6/A not F6(#11)/A as officially published. Finally, in the CODA section the official chart has an extraneous D-note on the last eighth of Asus2. This would require the wrong note to be played by the wrong finger on the wrong string, breaking the consistent picking pattern in the process. If it is there at all it is more likely to be an incidental hammer-on in preparation for the Asus4(b6). In any case it does not appear in the repeats despite having been printed twice (necessitated by notating the piece in 4/4 instead of 2/4).
