ALL APPLICATIONS WILL BE SUBMITED TO THE ZONING ADMINISTRATOR (EHT Zoning Ordinance Article 18.5.1). APPLICATION MATERIALS AND FEES ARE DUE PRIOR TO PERMIT APPROVAL AND COMMENCEMENT OF ANY WORK (EHT Zoning Ordinance Article 18.7) All applications must be made with full knowledge and written consent of all owners of the property in question. This requirement shall include, but is not limited to, the consent of a land contract seller to the relief sought by a land contract purchaser. All applications must be signed by all property owners. What Constitutes A Complete Submittal (EHT Zoning Ordinance Article 18.8)? The following shall be required to be submitted to the Township Zoning Administrator: 1. Completed Application Form (Attached) 2. Supplemental information or Permits that may be required Building Permit Application Septic Permit or septic field review Well Permit Soil Erosion Permit 911 Address Culvert Permit MI DEQ Permits Other Permits or Information as required by the Zoning Administrator 3. Four (4) copies of a complete Site Plan (See Below) 4. Once the application, site plan, and all other permits are deemed complete and accurate by the Zoning Administrator and all fees are paid in full, you will be contacted by the Zoning Administrator. Fees are nonrefundable. Site Plan Requirements (EHT Zoning Ordinance Article 18.8.2) 1. Minimum Site Plan Submittal shall be based on a mortgage survey or land survey prepared by a registered land surveyor or registered engineer. 2. The plan must be drawn to scale. 3. The plan must include property lines and dimensions, all structures and buildings (existing and proposed), all setback dimensions, driveways, easements, and right of ways. Building Permit Applications 1. One copy of the Building Permit Application, elevation drawings, floor plans and other drawing as required by the building inspector for building permit applications will be submitted with the zoning application. The Parcel I.D. Number can be found on your tax bill and zoning can be found at the Township web site at www.eagleharbortwp.org on the Eagle Harbor Township Zoning Map. When to Apply Thirty (30) days prior to the start of construction. If a variance is required, additional time will be needed for a Zoning Board of Appeals Hearing. Duration of Approval (EHT Zoning Ordinance Article 18.7.12) The Zoning Permit once approved is valid for one (1) year. Please Note: Submission of this signed application conveys the right to the Zoning Administrator and Staff of Eagle Harbor Township and/or their designees, to enter and access the subject property and to request access to any and all structures on the subject property.
