Eagle Harbor Community Complex/ Fire Hall/Town Hall Public Information Ad Hoc Subcommittee AUGUST 23, 2013, 10:00AM

Minutes Call to Order The meeting was called to order at 10:00 AM by subcommittee chair Jo Cauvin. Members Present: Jo Cauvin, Mary Ann Hohner, John Niebuhr, Rich Probst, Marlin Wingard, (added John Dawson) Members Absent: Bruce LeBlanc, Ginny Schubert Public Present: 1 Additions or Corrections to the Agenda: None Addition of New Subcommittee Member Jo Cauvin noted that John Dawson has been attending the meetings of the ad hoc committee regularly and has provided input. A motion was made by John Niebuhr, seconded by Marlin Wingard to add Dawson as a member of the ad hoc committee. The motion passed. Review of the Community Survey The purpose of the meeting was to review the Eagle Harbor Community Complex Surveys which had been distributed over the past six weeks and which were also available on the Township’s website. The committee members reviewed each survey that had been submitted. The committee was impressed with the number of responses and comments returned. A draft form of the tally sheet was presented for comment. Mary Ann Hohner and Jo Cauvin would complete the tally of the responses and forward the draft results to each ad hoc subcommittee member for their review and comment. After the report is completed, it will be presented to the full committee for its deliberation and appropriate dissemination. Recommendations It was agreed that the charge to the ad hoc subcommittee was to present information about the community complex to the public, to solicit public input and to provide the findings to the full Community Complex committee. The full committee has the responsibility to provide information to the Planning Commission and to formulate and make any recommendations to the Township Board. Next Steps The Ad Hoc Subcommittee will make its report to the full Community Complex Committee on September 5, 2013, at 10:00AM. The meeting adjourned at 11:22AM following a motion by Marlin Wingard, seconded by Rich Probst.
