Dear Sir, I am directed to state that the Executive Committee of the Council of Architecture (COA) at its 156 Meeting held on April 23 & 24 , 2016 , considered the assessment report of the Inspection Committee that visited your Institution on 29.03 .2016 , duly scrutinised by the Scrutiny Committee of Experts (copy enclosed) , together with the information provided by institution , for extension of approval of 5 year full-time Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degree course. The Executive Committee has decided to grant extension of approval to 5 year full-time Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degree course as under: DETAILS OF THE COURSE 5-year Full-Time Bachelor of Architecture

T he approval accorded by the Council to your institution is subject to compliance of the Council Norms attached herewith as Annexure-A. The approval accorded to your institution shall be subject to appointment of adequate Faculty of Architecture at your institution as per Council Norms, prior to commencement of academic session 2016-2017 . The Executive Committee further rejected the application of yo 'nstitution for add itional intake of 40 in the existing B.Arch. degree course due to Inadequate Activi y S aces , Books and Equipment and ft Faculty for the Additional Intake.

It is further informed that in case your institution is not satisfied with the said decision , it may file for review of the decision of the Council of Architecture submitting all necessary documents in support of your application for'·review. The institution can avail the opportunity for filing review before the Executive Committee only once . The institution will be required to pay a sum of Rs.25 ,000/- for filing review against the decision of the Executive Committee of the Council on the application for introduction of B.Arch.lM .Arch . course and additional intake the existing intake of 5-year full-time Bachelor of Architecture (B .Arch .) degree course. Accordingly , your institution , if it so desires, may file the review by submitting a demand draft of Rs .25 ,000/- "Review Charges" in favour of "Council of Arch itecture", payable at New Delhi , submitting the attached proforma along with all necessary documents. The institution shall initiate necessary remedial actions, if any, based on the observations of the Executive Committee and send its compliance/observations on the same for further consideration . The Council shall be at liberty to inspect the Institution at any point of time to verify the compliance made by the institution and to ascertain that the institution is imparting architectural course as per the Norms prescribed by the Council , from time to time.
