Graduate Exit Survey 2015-2016 A Collaborative Focus on Completion and Success

Overview 

Prior to 2015-2016, EOU did not have a clear and systematic method of engaging its current graduates to track post-graduation employment and education with much of its data being collected by individual departments and programs



In an effort to collectively catalog and disperse quantitative and qualitative data on our current graduates, EOU Career Services, EOU Institutional Research and EOU Alumni Association worked together to develop an eight question survey emailed using current EOU email addresses to the students who completed degrees for the 2015-2016 Academic Year



Institutional Research and Career Services utilized current Department of Labor and former Oregon University System questions to develop our survey launch on Survey Monkey

Methods and Confidence 

The Graduating Students Survey (Survey) was sent to 990 students beginning on June 7, 2016 and closing on June 30, 2016—results will be housed by EOU Institutional Research



Graduating students were sent notification of the Survey on June 7, 2016, June 13, 2016 and June 24, 2016 each time removing students upon completion of the Survey



267 out of 990 students (27% response rate)
