All students are subject to the admissions requirements as set for by the respective college to which they seek acceptance. All students must apply to the respective college as well as submit an application on www.gafutures.org All students and parents must sign the MOWR/Grady HS Participation Agreement. Students accepted into a MOWR/Dual Enrollment program enjoy the same privileges and opportunities as those enrolled as college freshmen. Accepted students earn both 3 college credits and 1 unit of high school credit per class. For students accepted into the program, course tuition and books fees are paid by the Georgia Student Finance Commission. Students must meet Georgia residency requirements as well as U.S citizenship or U.S national/permanent residential status.

The Renaissance: On-site dual enrollment/MOWR The Renaissance is located on Grady’s campus so that students never have to leave our campus to attend their college classes. This is a partnership with Atlanta Metropolitan State College whereby the college's instructional staff facilitates classes on Grady's campus in our JROTC building Monday – Thursday. Georgia State University/GSU (or other approved colleges): Off-site dual enrollment/MOWR on an approved college or university campus: The traditional MOWR program allows students to take advantage of a split schedule and attend Grady for half the day or a full day. Students then leave Grady’s campus and attend a college/university for the other half of the day or the whole day. Whether the student attends the college for a half or full day, s/he is still bound by the requirements as established by Grady High School and the Atlanta Public School System. Typical courses taken are academic subjects i.e. English, Math, Science, Social Science, Foreign Lang. etc. Contact your assigned counselor if you are interested in an off-site dual enrollment/MOWR program. Eligibility Requirements: GPA: 3.0 or 85% ACT 23+ (23 minimum in English & Math sections) or New Version SAT 810+ (For GSU minimum Reading 29 & Math 560/28. For GSU Perimeter minimum Reading 26 & Math 530/26.5) Old Version SAT 1060+ (minimum 530 in both Reading and Math)

The Career Academy at Atlanta Technical College: Offsite vocational-tech college enrollment: This is a partnership with Atlanta Technical College (ATC) whereby students attend Grady for half of the day in the morning, then travel to ATC's campus for the afternoon. Transportation is provided. Students have the opportunity to engage in technical courses such as Pharmacy Tech, Computer Information Systems, Automotive Collision Repair, Patient Care Assisting, Supply Chain Management, and other technical programs while attending ATC. Contact your assigned counselor if you are interested in the Career Academy. Eligibility Requirements: No minimum GPA but you must be in the 11th or 12th grade ACT 18+ or Old Version SAT (minimum Reading 410 & Math 410) New Version SAT (minimum Reading 23 & Math 450/22.5) or If you don't have an ACT or SAT score then you can take Atlanta Tech's Accuplacer exam.
