New Middle School Opens in Greybull CHEYENNE, Wyo. – In partnership with Big Horn County School District #3, the state is opening a new middle school in Greybull, according to the director of Wyoming’s School Facilities Department (SFD), Bill Panos. Designed by CTA Architects, Greybull Middle School spans 19,727 square feet and has the capacity to serve 158 students in grades 6-8. The school district will hold a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony this evening, August 11, at 6 p.m. (MDT). “It’s wonderful to see this project come to fruition.” Panos said. “Reaching this point would not be possible without an ongoing commitment from the school district, the community, the Legislature and Governor Mead.” Greybull Middle School received over $6 million in state funding, including funds for planning, design and construction. “We are fortunate to live in a state where the natural resources generate revenue to support and sustain quality educational facilities,” Panos added. -end-
