Eye Meditation In this eye meditation of approximately 40 minutes, as one sits still with eyes closed, with initial slight effort, the attention can be placed in/on the eye balls. Slowly and steadily the sensations in the eyes comes to awareness. Without tampering the sensations and letting the sensations unfold, a lot of impressions get erased giving deep relaxation to the eyes. The greater the duration of the seating, the greater the relief. Sometimes, impressions appear as images in the eyes. As one keeps still, a lot of these images get eradicated. NOTE that people with eye problems should not do this kind of meditation without Doctor's advice. NOTE that this meditation is not for those who have serious eye problems. Neither there is any claim made to cure the diseases of the eyes. Sit Still and Be In this meditation of approximately 65 minutes, one needs to sit still with eyes closed as a lotus flower rests gently on the surface of the pond and not as a stiff rock resting on a hard surface. In this meditation, there is no movement of attention. Different phenomena come into awareness and pass off. The process is long but as one meditates for longer duration, various events happening in the flow of consciousness comes into awareness. The one in meditation has to sit still and be. As one dives deeper, the universal awareness dawns and the individuality of the ego looses its essence from time to time. NOTE that one should not expect over night results and a guideline of how to meditate has been given. Meditating under a tree will be of immense help. See to it that the area is clean and free from dangerous animals. IMPORTANT - please see to eat that meditations are done empty stomach. Best times for meditations are 4 to 6 or 7 AM (before breakfast), 5 to 7 PM (before dinner). --There might be some grammatical mistakes while i am speaking as it is extremely difficult to maintain the flow while meditating as well as guiding the meditation.
