Using the Course Description Guide (online) and recommendations from your parents and teachers, select the courses you wish to take in 2017‐2018 school year. The master schedule/staffing for next year are determined based on course requests, so it is critical that you take the choices seriously. You will have little opportunity to change these selections later, so make an informed decision. You will be held responsible for these selections. The Learning Recommendations in the Course Catalog are there to help you make an Informed Self‐Selection – read them carefully & choose wisely. 1. Specific required courses for your grade are already listed. 2. Courses are selected and scheduled for the entire year. Schedule changes are NOT permitted at the beginning of 2nd semester. Each year‐long course = 1.0 credit, each semester course = .5 credits. 3. Fill in all alternate courses. Otherwise, you risk being assigned un‐requested courses. 4.
By requesting these courses online, you are confirming that you’ve read the course guide description & Learning Recommendations of each class and that you understand and are committing to these choices.
