How to Enter using the Fabian4 Online Entry Service Fabian4 is a well-established online entry system that has been been used by hundreds of events in a range of sports that include orienteering, running and triathlon. Payments, using a credit or debit card, are made through the secure Sage Pay service. You can make multiple entries (e.g. for a family) in a single transaction. If you wish to run the same course as a group, using a single map, please make your entry in the name of a single group member. Please add a note in the Special Request field of Screen 3 to indicate which competitors will be running with others (list the other names or simply state the number of others, e.g. “Running as a group: Joe Bloggs +1 other”). The entry process consists of six steps, as described below. If you are not sure what (if any) information should be entered in a particular field within a form, hold the cursor over the field to reveal a „tool tip‟. Mandatory fields are marked within an asterisk (*).    

Got to Fabian4 and find the event you wish to enter in the list of Live Events. Click on the Enter link to the right of the event name. In screen 1 (Contact Details) you are asked to enter details of a contact person for your entry. In screen 2 (Competitor Profile) you are asked to enter details of a single competitor. If you wish to enter more than one person, use the „Add another competitor‟ button after completing the details for the first competitor. Once you have entered all competitors, click „Next‟. o If you wish to hire a „dibber‟ (electronic tag), leave the SI Card Number field blank. o If you are not a member of an orienteering club, enter „IND‟ (independent) in the Orienteering Club field.

In Screen 3 (Event Specific Details) you are asked to choose the course that each competitor wishes to enter. o Select the required course(s) in the Class column.

In Screen 4, you are given the chance to review the information you have entered. Use the Back button to go back and make any necessary corrections. Screen 5 will take you to the Sage Pay secure payment site. Screen 6 will confirm your entry and payment.
