Happy birthday to Autumn Carlson who celebrates today and to Kailee Bennett, Erik Boquist, Rebecca Otis and Mrs. Sanguedolce who celebrate over the weekend! Those students, who are wearing blue in support of Autism Speaks, please stop by the Cafeteria at the beginning of Office Hours to help hang a banner and for a quick photo. Lost and found will be emptied this weekend. Please check the cart which is located in the Cafeteria. SENIORS: Some local scholarships have a postmark deadline of TODAY, April 1st! Two weeks from today on Friday, April 15th the Inter-Lakes GSA invites you to join hundreds of thousands of students across the country in a national Day of Silence. The Day of Silence calls attention to the bullying and harassment students experience for being and expressing who they are and is a way to take a stand together for the dignity of all members of our community. To sign up or learn more, see Mr. Kusch in Guidance. Students! There will be a JOB FAIR here at Inter-Lake next Wednesday, April 6th from 10:15 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. in the auditorium! There are many opportunities for jobs that you don’t want to miss! See the Job Fair Board which is posted outside the Main Office for some of the local businesses who will be here to talk to you. Application forms are available. Please see Mrs. Duffield in Guidance for more information. It's time to register for the annual Inter-Lakes Variety Show! Do you juggle, tumble, dance, sing, tell jokes, do magic tricks, play an instrument? Then you are just the person we are looking for. Do you have a group of friends with a special talent? Join us for an evening of fun and entertainment on April 9 at 7PM in the Inter-Lakes Community Auditorium and show off your amazing talent! The Variety Show is open to anyone affiliated with the Inter-Lakes School District. Online registration is open now at www.interlakes.org/ilhs-theater-company.html. If you are a former AVID Student and wish to attend the University of Vermont Field Trip on April 7th, please stop in Guidance for a permission slip form. The Interact Club is now accepting gently used formal attire for boys and girls attending prom. They are collecting dresses, shoes, jewelry, ties, suits, men’s dress shoes, new perfumes and colognes. All donations can be brought to Carter Smith or Margaux Dickinson who are the organizers of the prom attire drive! This year the Granite Girls State Program for upcoming senior girls will be held at St Anselm College in Manchester, NH from June 26th - July1st. If you are interested in political science or government please consider attending this worthwhile week long program. The cost is $50 to apply.
