Daily immersion with a host family To progress in German what if your child simply shared the daily life of a German family? Hosted by a carefully selected family, they will be immersed in the sounds, the habits and customs, and will rapidly become familiar with the language. Their apprehensions will quickly fade and they will start to communicate with increasing ease. PRACTICAL INFORMATION
• Level of German : A1/A2 • Student must be motivated, communicative and independent • Student will live the family life and as his/her life in their country, he/she will need to do things by himself/herself (reading, walking, watching TV...) • Arrival on Sunday, departure on Saturday
TRANSPORT
• Not included, should be arranged by the student. SILC can organize the travel, please contact us • Transfers not included, should be arranged by the student from the airport/station of arrival to the host family. SILC can arrange the transfers, please contact us
Programme
• This individual programme, in total immersion in a German family without tuition, requires maturity and communication skills as you share the daily life of the family. During the stay you’ll keep a journal to be brought back home along with a certificate of completion.
Accommodation
• Full board accommodation. The room can be shared with a foreign student or a child of the family. We won’t place students of a same nationality in the same family The hosting area will be decided depending on dates and availabilities.
Locations
• Placements will be done all over German according to students and host family profiles.
