Kind attention of Railway Board is invited to the discussionsheld in the Fast Track Committeemeeting on 29/0812014.In the said meeting,the decision relating to induction of Act Apprenticesas substitutesagainst safety vacancieswas discussed.Consequently,as per minutes issuedby the Convenorof the Committeeunderfile No. 2014IE(LR)IUI3/2, it was agreedto reiterate the instructionsclarifling the position that the CourseCompletedAct Apprenticesmay be inducted againstsafetyvacancies. It is, however,noticedthat instructionsareyet to be issuedby the Railway Board. NFIR, therefore,requeststhe Railway Board to kindly issue instructionsas decidedin the FastTrack Committeemeetingand endorsecopy to this Federation.
