NFIR vide letter of evennumberdated3010812016 had broughtto the kind noticeof the Board (MS), the case relating to non-implementationof Board's instructionsdated l4th November, 2013issuedpursuantto the decisionin theNFIR's PNM meeting(itemNo.0ll20l0), resultingseriousdisappointment amongthe TrackMaintainers. Federationfeelssadto conveythatthougha periodof over 10months,no actionhasbeen takenby the Boardto impressuponthe GMs the needto ensureimplementationof Board'sorder datedI4lIll20l3 to relieveTrackMaintainerfor joining otherDepartments. The ZonalRailways never botheredto take stepsfor advanceplanning to processthe options/requests of Track Maintainersfor transferto othercadres/departments. Federationalsoreceivedreportsthat on someZonal Railways,the Track Maintainersare not releasedto other departmentsand other railways on the pretext of non-availabilityof replacement. While enclosingcopyof Federation'sletterdated3010812016' NFIR onceagainurgesthe Board (MS & ME) to kindly seethat instructionsare reiteratedto the Zonesto implement Board'sorderdatedI4llll20I3 as the TrackMaintainersare agitatedover non-compliance of Board'sinstructionseven afterlapseof over3 Yzyears.
