Configurando JDK no Ubuntu Antes de Começar Se for seguir o tutorial, por favor acesse o vídeo: Instalar JDK no LINUX Para acompanhar o estudo da linguagem JAVA, acesse o blog Kodificando

Passo a Passo 1. Verificar se o JAVA já está instalado no Ubuntu a. java -version 2. Remover completamente o OpenJDK a. sudo apt-get purge openjdk-\* 3. Atualizar o sistema a. sudo apt-get update 4. Configurar o repositório da Oracle a. sudo apt-get install python-software-properties b. sudo add-apt-repository ppa:webupd8team/java c. sudo apt-get update 5. Instalar o Oracle JDK mais estável (versão 7) a. sudo apt-get install oracle-java7-installer 6. Configurar a variável JAVA_HOME a. sudo update-alternatives --config java b. copiar o caminho padrão (até -oracle)

No exemplo acima, seria /usr/lib/jvm/java-7-oracle/ sudo nano /etc/environment pular linha no arquivo e inserir JAVA_HOME=”caminho padrão (até oracle)” CTRL + X e salvar source /etc/environment echo $JAVA_HOME
