Intersect Digital Case Study: 360i / Simply Orange Expandable When 360i aimed to build a campaign around Simply Orange bringing the lushness of an Orange grove to the harsh climate of New York City, Intersect stepped up not only to flesh out the details of this 30+ unit campaign, but also to bring some creative solutions to coding the experience. The crown jewel of the buy was a 300x600, expanding to 600x600, which prompted users to control the growth of the thicket over downtown Manhattan.

Intersect’s Role To bring the unit to life, we made sure to optimize the interactive portion as much as possible. We pre-loaded the animating video scene upon user interaction, to limit both lag time and needless user download. Additionally, we broke the audio out of the provided assets and made two unique, looping tracks, which we then faded between to simulate the transition of urban to rural environment. All in all, our role was to do the blocking and tackling for the standard DCM portion of the campaign, conceptualize and execute the keystone interactive Manhattan slider unit, and ultimately QA the units using DoubleClick Studio’s QA workflow before handing the units off to media.
