Jessica Krug has worked in the architecture industry for over 10 years. Her initial experience was with a high-end, single family residential architect in Chile. In 2005, Jessica moved permanently to the US, where she began working as a studio designer with SLA Studio Land, Inc. Jessica joined Asakura Robinson Company in 2006; in mid-2009 she became LEED Accredited and has served as designer and project manager on numerous LEED registered projects. Jessica has over six years of experience in project management, including construction documents and construction observation services for numerous projects ranging from streetscapes to parks and schools. She is experienced as both a prime and sub providing specs and associated details for tree protection, hardscape, plantings, lighting plans, and site furnishings, as well as in the permitting and cost estimating process. During construction observation, Jessica works closely with the owner, engineers, contractor, and other coordinating parties to review submittals, respond to RFIs, and ensure all installed materials meet the plan specifications. As a native Spanish speaker, Jessica’s bilingual skills are critical when applied during public and client meetings where communication issues are foremost. In a group setting she can serve as a moderator between end-users, clients, specialinterest groups and staff to ensure all information and needs are communicated accurately.
