Jenyu Wang Screenshot1, video still from I Explain Myself (Dana), 24X20, ink jet print Jenyu is a Chicago based artist whose work focuses on the expression of pain and trauma. She often employs methods that are exploitative in nature and recruits actors to materialize certain concepts and ideas. In her video I Explain Myself, Jenyu torments her actors who are also her subjects to conceptualize her artist statement.
