NOMINATIONS FOR BOYS AND GIRLS STATE The American Legion’s Boys State and Palmetto Girls State are one-week leadership and citizenship training programs (from June 8 – June 14), created to educate outstanding high school students about state and local government and citizenship. It is an honor to be chosen as a delegate and a great opportunity for the students who are selected to participate. We are asking for nominations at this time, for current juniors (rising seniors) who demonstrate leadership, character, scholarship and service to their school and community. Names will then be provided to the selection committees. Nomination forms can be picked up in Counseling & Advisement and need to be returned to Michelle Bull in Counseling & Advisement by Thursday, February 27th.

Students may sign up with Ms. Bull in Counseling & Advisement. Transportation is not provided but the absence will be excused. The SAT workshop is $30 and students may pay Ms. Bull when they sign up. Checks may be made payable to RBHS.
