You and I briefly discussed Le Bosquet Park, at the corner of Old Dominion Drive and Nodabene. From our past participation with the Adopt-A-Park program, we have about $4,225 available. Our original small group has disappeared as most members have moved. So, we’d be pleased to make those funds available to you for use on Le Bosquet Park. It would help with the garbage containers. Also, in the past, we have asked for help in planting some trees or shrubs that would provide some color to the park. Things like forsythias, photenias, crape myrtles, or sumacs. Perhaps some of the money could be used for that type of planting. I have been talking with Ms. Brownstein for about five years, with no results. In November 1999, she faxed an estimate for a landscape project for Le Bosquet Park. I have attached a copy of that. Since we have about $4225, we would have had to cut something. We need to do something in the Fall 2000 planting season. The project can then be finished in the Spring of 2001. Please have somebody contact me so we can open discussions soon.
