July 10, 2013 Dear Sir or Madam: It is my pleasure to write a letter of recommendation for Mrs. Brandi Rund, Technology Integration Training Specialist for the Clark-Pleasant Community School Corporation. I had the privilege of supervising Mrs. Rund in a similar position at the Decatur County Community School Corporation, in the past. As a peer in the education technology field I have built a very strong opinion about Mrs. Rund as a colleague and consummate professional. I have known Mrs. Rund for approximately 6 years and she continues to impress me with her technical knowledge and her ability to relate that knowledge to help education integrate the technology. Mrs. Rund has earned a reputation as an excellent communicator, a thorough task-manager, and a personable colleague who is easy to work with. During her tenure with the Decatur County Community School Corporation, Mrs. Rund was responsible for the advancement of technology functionality in the classroom, maintenance and repair of equipment, as the go to person for our instructional technology, and providing professional development to the teaching and administrative staff. I have always been impressed by her ability to manage the technical-side of the job with larger projects while still finding time to deal with the day-to-day technological needs throughout the school corporation. Most recently, Mrs. Rund has taken it upon herself to seek out addition training and education in IT project management, which clearly demonstrates her ability to balance an ever-increasing workload. In her tenure in public education, Mrs. Rund has helped advance the use and functionality of technology. Mrs. Rund is always willing to offer his assistance in any endeavor and is considered a valuable team member. She has developed an excellent rapport and reputation with her colleagues in the field. She would be an asset to any employer and I highly recommend her.
