Extensive experience in scientific diving with training in CRANE protocol Identification of various algae, invertebrate, fish, coral, and mangrove species in kelp forests, rocky reefs, estuaries, rivers, and coral reefs Fish sampling techniques including cast net, gill net, fyke net, purse seine, otter trawl, beam trawl, and polespear Various sediment and water quality testing protocol for industry (oil/gas refineries, ports, power stations, sanitation, transport, etc.) and reef damage assessment Use and maintenance of water quality testing equipment (YSI, Seabird, etc.) Underwater photography/videography including equipment construction, archiving, and computer analysis Husbandry of finfish, bivalves, and related live feeds
