Non-Negotiables
• Building institutions of the poor(SHGs, SHG Federations, Livelihoods Collectives etc.) • Active generic institutions like women SHGs prioritized in the process • Self reliance of institutions promoted • Equity in decision making and other common activities including benefit sharing • Sustainable resource use (Pre-harvesting, harvest and post-harvest) with care for regeneration and development • Development of value chain for forward and backward linkages • Eco-friendly practices • Targeting poorest of poor and most vulnerable such as SC/ST, minorities, landless and PVTGs • Participatory approaches and bottom up planning will constitute the core value of MKSP
Plan Ahead
• Integration of MKSP with the broader NRLM roll out and convergence with the State Livelihoods Plan • SRLMs would integrate farm livelihoods in their Livelihoods Promotion Strategy as part of the Annual Action Plan • Focus on promotion of livelihood interventions in all intensive blocks
