Medical Emergency Action Plan UGA Club Sports 2012-2013

EMT/Ambulance Assigned Event Trainer Ramsey Center/UGA Staff Club CPR/First Aid trained member

Emergency Personnel Ramsey Activities: For all events a staff member will be at the front desk, S&C I, and S&C II. Pool: For all events lifeguards will be on duty Club Sports Complex: A trainer will be on site for competitions Off-Campus Activities: Off campus teams must have members certified in CPR/First Aid/AED. These clubs must also list the locations of the nearest emergency facilities

Emergency Communication Ramsey/UGA Staff/Trainer or Lifeguards will access EMS/public safety. Club CPR/First Aid trained member is to assist in any way possible or access EMS/public safety if they are in charge. If forced to use a cell phone, keep the line open for emergency personnel.

Emergency Equipment on Site Ramsey Center: Ice and first aid is available from equipment checkout downstairs. Pool: First Aid is available from the lifeguards. Ice is available from equipment checkout downstairs. Club Sports Complex: First Aid kit and ice will be available from Rec sports staff. Off-Campus Activities: These clubs are responsible for maintaining their own equipment, including a fully stocked first aid kit.

Post-Emergency Procedures Ramsey: Assist Rec sports staff in completion of Accident Report Club Complex: Assist Rec sports staff in completion of Accident Report Off-Campus: Complete Accident Report and submit to Club Sports Coordinator within 1 business day.
