It is pro po sed to engage 06 (Six) Co nsult ant s and 05 (Five ) Yo ung Pro f e ssio nals in Nat io nal Wat e r Missio n (NWM) at NWM Secretariat, New Delhi, fo r achieving its o bjectives set under NWM missio n Do cument. 1. The Terms and Co nditio ns, the eligibility criteria etc., fo r engaging the Yo ung Pro fessio nals and Co nsultants o f NWM shall be as under: 1.1 Cat e go rie s t o be e ngage d: Yo ung Pro fessio nals & Co nsultants. 1.2. Target gro up: The candidates as per the prescribed “eligibility” at annexure A and B. 1.3. Obje ct ive s: To achieve the o bjectives o f NWM as per Missio n Do cument in a time bo und manner and to have the desired qualitative and quantitative o utputs and also to o verseas water quality issues. 1.4. Eligibilit y: Interested candidates, who are citizens o f India and fulfilling the eligibility criteria (educatio nal qualificatio n & experience) at Annexure ‘A’ & ‘B’. 1.5. Durat io n o f t he Engage m e nt : The initial term o f co ntract shall be fo r a perio d o f o ne year fro m date o f engagement and subsequent extensio n(s) if any, shall be decided o n case to case basis depending upo n requirement and perfo rmance. The candidates will be o n pro batio n fo r the first year and there co ntinuatio n is subject to perfo rmance evaluatio n based o n targets set within a week o f jo ining.The appo intment o f Yo ung Pro fessio nals and Co nsultants wo uld be o n Full-time basis and they wo uld no t be permitted to take up any o ther assignment during the perio d o f Co nsultancy with the Natio nal Water Missio n. 1.6

1.9. De clarat io n o f Se cre cy: All pro fessio nals engaged will be required to furnish o ath o f secrecy in prescribed fo rmat at the time o f repo rting fo r the engagement. The pro fessio nals may no t, except with the previo us sanctio n o f NWM in the discharge o f his/her duties, publish a bo o k o r a co mpilatio n o f articles o r participate in a radio bro adcast o r co ntribute an article o r write a letter to any newspaper o r perio dical, either in his/her o wn name o r ano nymo usly o r pseudo nymo us in the name o f any o ther perso n, if such bo o k, article, bro adcast, uses any info rmatio n that he may gather as part o f this co nsultancy, witho ut the prio r appro val o f NWM. During the perio d o f assignment with NWM, all such co ntractual emplo yees will be subject to the pro visio ns o f the Indian Official Secrets Act, 1923 and will no t divulge any info rmatio n gathered by him/her during the perio d o f assignment to anyo ne who is no t autho rised to kno w/ have the same. The pro fessio nals engaged by the NWM shall in no case represent o r give o pinio n o r advice to o thers in any manner which is adverse to the interest o f NWM. 1.10. Applicat io n and Se le ct io n: 1.10.1. Metho d o f applicat io n- Submissio n o f applicatio n with CV (Annexure – C) as per the advertisement o f the Ministry. 1.10.2 All applicatio ns so received will be sho rt-listed, based o n requisite eligibility and o nly sho rt-listed candidates will be called fo r perso nal interview o n an specified date. 1.10.3 The selectio n shall be made o n the basis o f reco mmendatio ns o f Co nsultant Evaluatio n Co mmittee (CEC) co nstituted fo r the purpo se by the Ministry. The Ministry will issue co mmunicatio n to the selected Co nsultants/Yo ung Pro fessio nals to jo in. 1.10.4. The candidate will be required to pro duce o riginal certificates in suppo rt o f fulfilling the eligibility criteria, educatio nal qualificatio n and experience during interview and at the time o f jo ining. 1 .11 . Lo gist ics and Suppo rt : The Yo ung Pro fessio nals, Co nsultants, attached to the NWM, wo uld be pro vided wo rking space and o ther necessities as deemed fit. 1.12. Expe ct e d Out co m e s / Pe rf o rm ance : (i) NWM Go als targets are fixed o n their jo ining and are reviewed quarterly and annually. (ii) Co nsultants and Yo ung Pro fessio nals shall submit the Jo b Chart and Perfo rmance Target (annual/quarterly as applicable) under the guidance o f Advisers within 7 days o f Jo ining. II. The perio d o f engagement o f Co nsultant shall no t exceed beyo nd the age o f 65 years. 3. Age -lim it : - Maximum age limit fo r engagement o f Co nsultants and Yo ung Pro fessio nals shall be as under: a) Co nsultant (Tech.)-40 Year b) Yo ung Pro fessio nal (Tech)-30 Year c) Co nsultant (General Administratio n) may be a retired Go vernment Servant no t exceeding 65 year o f age. 4.
