RECLASSIFICATION OF THE PROVINCE OF SIQUIJOR AND ITS MUNICIPALITIES EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 1982, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 465.
TO:
The Regional Director for Local Government Finance, Region VII, Provincial Governor, Municipal Mayors, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, Local Sangganiang Dayan, Provincial and Municipal Treasurers, Provincial Auditor and Others Concerned.
Pursuant to Section 2 of Presidential Decree No. 465, the province of Siquijor is hereby reclassified from Fourth Class. to Third Class, effective July 1, 1982, on the basis of the average annual income of $1,254,585.24 actually realized during the last four (4) consecutive calendar years (19781981) as certified by the Commission on Audit under its letter dated October 7, 1982. Pursuant to Section 5 of the aforementioned Presidential Decree, the following municipalities in the province of Sigaijor are hereby reclassified also effective July 1, 1982, on the basis of their average annual income actually realized during the last four (4) consecutive calendar years (19781981), as certified by the said Commission under the aforementioned letter dated October 7, 1982 as follows:

However, the muncipality of Larena maintains its present classification as Fifth Class considering its average annual income of $250,988.10 actually realized during the last four (4) consecutive calendar years (1976-1981) as certified also by the said Commission. The foregoing classification shall be the basis for determining the maximum amounts expendable for salaries and wages, representation allowances, administrative aids and other statutory contributions in the adoption of the annual budgets, as well as the maximum salary rates of local government officials and employees in accordance with existing law and regulations.
