Teaching Thoughts: Are you required to give your Kindergarten students bubble-in tests? I have to say that I am absolutely opposed to doing this, because it really isn’t developmentally appropriate. Unfortunately, The Powers That Be are in charge, and I am just a Kindergarten teacher who has learned to adapt. So, having stated my opinion…….I have made some fun-looking bubble practicing sheets with different themes. By practicing bubbling, my students won’t be so overwhelmed when the time comes to officially bubble in answers at a timed rate. I am keeping each sheet short and simple with a focus on sight words that my students need to practice. Hopefully, you won’t need my practice sheets because you’re not giving 5 year olds “Bubble-In Tests”…..but if you are…..you may want to look into purchasing them as individual themed sheets or as a bundle . I will begin adding to a bundle that will grow in size as well as in price…so buy early to save $$$$! --Happy Teaching! Regina Davis
