Your child is welcome to bring one item of the colour or letter of the week to talk about at circle time.

World book day W/C 27th Feb We would love the children to bring in their favourite books from home & come dressed as their favourite book character. I have enclosed a voucher for your child to use for a free £1 book or it can be redeemed against a higher priced book.

Sainsbury Vouchers Please spread the word that we are collecting Sainsbury vouchers. The children have seen a lovely Duplo set that they would like but it’s a lot of vouchers ,so please help us. We have a collection box in the foyer.

Easter Service Wednesday 5th April 11am Mount View Church would like to invite all families to an Easter Service. It will be about 30 mins long and will consist of a story, craft & songs. Refreshments will be served afterwards. Messy Church Saturday 25th March 1 0am12pm

Baby & Toddler Group Thursday 10am-11.45am In our hall, Karen runs a lovely baby & toddler group. Everyone welcome, come along for a drink, chat ,make new friends. It is £2.00 per child & 50p for additional children. Please spread the word in the community as we currently have spaces.

Library Visit Wednesday 8th March 1.30pm We are taking the children on the bus to the Central Library. We will leave at 12.40pm and return for 3.30pm Volunteers needed to help, All children are welcome but if its not their session they will need to be accompanied by an adult but please let us know beforehand.

Red Nose Day Friday 24th March Please dress up in red or wear a red nose, £1 donation. We will also we selling buns/cakes to raise money.

Illness Please phone if your child is not attending pre-school due to being ill. For clarification, if your child has sickness/diarrhoea please allow 48hrs after the last bout before returning. This is a new amendment to our policy to bring it in line with guidelines from the Department of Health. Chicken pox –Children can return to preschool once all of the blisters have dried up and scabbed over. Kind Regards Tina Sheedy Pre-school Manager

Funding/ Term Dates Each child gets 38 weeks of free early years education from the Local Education Authority. The financial year starts on the 1st April for the funding. Depending on where Easter lies in the year, it can change the way in which pre-school is payed the money. This year from 1st April 2016 to 31st March 2017 there is more than 38 weeks. Therefore we will be closing preschool for an extra week in May & October. Please come and see me if you have any questions. I can assure you that your child is receiving all their allowance over the year running September to July. Summer Term Monday 4th April– Friday 20th May 2016 (Spring Bank Holiday 2 weeks 23rd May until 5th June)
