Welcome to Preschool! Vineland Public Schools is proud to offer high-quality preschool programs to all eligible three- and four-yearolds. Eligibility is based on: • Parent or guardian being a resident of Vineland and • Child being three or four on or before October 1st
The Vineland Preschool Program is provided at a variety of sites located conveniently throughout the City of Vineland. Programs are either run by the school district or through New Jersey Department of Human Services Licensed Child Care Providers. All programs are supervised by Vineland Public Schools and meet Department of Education requirements.

The Vineland Preschool Programs offer: P-3 Certified Teachers Class Size of 15 Children Classroom Assistants Developmentally Appropriate Curriculum Preschool Intervention Team Child Study Team Extended Days (10 hours) Summer Programs (check for participation) Meals Are Available Transportation May Be Available
A Typical Day at Preschool
Our classroom schedules support the overall development of preschool-aged children by providing a balanced program for social interaction and academic readiness. Each child has the opportunity to explore, learn and grow through a variety of experiences throughout the day. A consistent daily routine of events provides structure and comfort to our youngest learners. Regardless of location, the daily schedule includes: Greeting Time / “Circle Time” Planning, Work Time, Recall Outdoor Play (Gross Motor Time) Story Time Small and Large Group Time Lunch and Snack Time • Rest Time Closing Activities
• Child’s Official Original Birth Certificate or Passport – NO copies or hospital certificates; • Current Proof of Residence; • Child’s Immunization Record/Health Forms; • Copy of latest IEP, if child was evaluated by the Child Study Team; • Custody Papers, if applicable; • Photo ID of Guardian registering student; • Physical Examination Form and Universal Child Health Record - must be completed by doctor; • Current Photo of Child; and • Completed Entire Registration Packet – NO BLANKS.
