Bunker Transition Fellowship Information Sheet Prospective Bunker Transition Fellowship Applicants Timothy O’Neil, CEO, Bunker Labs Minneapolis
In 2016, we created the Transition Fellowship program in order to realize a great opportunity – assisting transitioning military service members by placing them in corporate internships. Through the Department of Defense (DoD) Skillbridge program, the Fellowship will help veterans work at civilian internships before they are formally separated from the military – allowing the service members have the time they need to build a professional network, develop a professional skill set and experience, evaluate potential careers, relocate to their desired post-military residence, and ultimately begin to acclimate to post-military life. Skillbridge allows you to receive approval from the first field grade officer with NJP authority in your chain of command to spend all or part of you final 6 months of active duty service in an unpaid intership. You will continue to receive all active duty benefits while in a PTAD status. If you will be separating from the active duty military in the next year, you should consider using this program to participate in our Transition Fellowship.
Fellowship Program Overview The Transition Fellowship is designed to create an environment that facilitates the transition from military service to the next professional career in Minnesota. The program consists of: § § §
