Submittals: Provide company profile, experience, and references. Proof of Insurance: general liability, automobile and worker’s compensation. Provide final closeout documentation within 10 days of project completion. SCOPE OF WORK
The general scope of work consist of patching, repair cracks, filling nail holes and prepare interior walls and offices of Building F at Mount View High School to apply a fresh coat of paint. The scheduled wall surfaces and offices will be specified on the attached building plans. Walls’ surface must be smooth, dry and cleaned before painting. Contractor must provide all labor and materials to complete this project Brick walls should NOT be included as part of the project, but must be covered to protect them from overspray. Repair damage sections of ceiling and paint entire ceiling white on each scheduled room. Remove electrical plates, grilles, access panels, light fixture trims and fittings prior to surface preparation. Remove picture frames, boards and paper decorations prior to surface preparation. Surfaces must be perfectly dry, clean and smooth before applying primer coat. Fill any crack holes, and scratches with filler compound and make smooth before applying primer and paint. Use masking tape and plastic to cover all edges, and other surfaces that do not require painting. Exit metal doors must be prepared and painted with specific methods for metal painting *** Paint exposed conduit and electrical equipment existing in finished areas to match surface to be painted. Paint wood window and door jams Interior wood doors are NOT included Provide drop cloths and mask off all floor areas where painting is being done. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE for any damages or stains to newly installed carpet and flooring. Clean dust and dispose of all trash generated by work assignment. Disposed leftover paint, and paint products used on the job assignment.
Scheduled to paint rooms and offices are listed on the following table. Square footage is approximate, and some offices contain cabinets that do not need to be painted. They must be covered and protected from overspray and damages.
