No. 2009/MS,Misc (Safety) dated25l08l2009addressedto the GMs of Zonal Railways and copy endorsedto the Federation. *r<***,*{<**:r NFIR has since decided to conduct National Seminar on "Safety in Indian Railways - Role of S&T Department" on 28fr May 2016 at Rail Kalarang Bhoiguda, Secunderabad.The Seminar is aimed at deep interaction on skills requirement of staff working in the S&T Departmentand draw action plan to campaignfor enhancing efficiency levels among S&T Staff for ensuring safety standardsand improved effrciency levels in Railways. The National Seminar would also deliberate on working conditions, career opportunities of staff for evolving strategiesfor addressingthe issues. Ref:

The CRB has very kindly given his consentto inauguratethe National Seminarand addressthe participants. SeveraldignatoriesbesidesGM, SC Rly., and Director/IRISET will also addressthe seminar. NFIR therefore requeststhe Railway Board to kindly accord approval and issue instructions to the General Managers of Zonal Railways for relieving the delegates duly granting special CL and pass for the successof the seminar.The number of delegatesrequired to be grantedspecialCL and specialpassis indicatedbelow:(i) Six delegatesfrom each of the following zones. Central, Eastern, Northern, North Eastern, Northeast Frontier, Southern. South Eastern and Westem Railway. (ii) Five delegatesfrom each of the following zones. East Central, East Coast, North Central, North Western, Metro, South East Central. South Western and West Central Railway. (iii) (iv)

115 (one hundredand fifteen) delegatesfrom the SouthCentralRailway. Four delegatesfrom ITISET, Secunderabad.
