REPUBLICAN CONTRACT WITH THE CITIZENS OF NEW HANOVER COUNTY As a Republican and a citizen who is seeking the position of New Hanover County Commissioner I, pledge, at all times, to be for the people and to keep the bond of trust between me and the people who have elected me.
In a time when politicians continue to evade questions, pander to private groups and posture to the people as well as the parties that they represent. I make this pledge to stand apart and instead to be upfront and honest to the people whom I will be representing. The following four points are the core of this pledge.

FIRST, There will be transparency in all government matters. The people have a right to know how any elected official will represent them. I will be open and honest on how I will handle the issues that are presented to me. SECOND, I will vote to maintain a balanced budget at all times and seek ways in which to lower taxes. THIRD, I will vote to prioritize using tax payer dollars for public safety, education, and infrastructure projects first, before other projects. FOURTH, I will limit my time in office to a maximum of three consecutive terms.
With these four points I, , will build the foundation in which I will serve my time in office. To this point, this contract will serve as a physical representation of my moral obligation to the people. If I do not follow the criteria or cannot show how my decisions will truly help the people I, , will voluntarily step down from elected office.
