NQA-1 Lead Auditor Certification Training Who Should Attend: Quality assurance managers, auditors, inspectors, testers, technical specialists, or management with defined responsibilities and authorities for the effective implementation of the quality assurance program and requirements. Course Purpose: The objective is to provide students with sufficient knowledge, understanding and skills needed to carry out successful quality assurance audits. This course will satisfy ASME NQA-1 requirements for training and examination of prospective Lead Auditors. Course Curriculum: NQA-1 quality system overview, quality system documentation, auditor conduct and confidentiality, and interpretation for audits will be presented. Interactive audit team workshops will cover the audit cycle – preparation, coordination, plans, checklists, opening/closing meetings, reports and follow-up activities. Real exercises and case studies will follow the QA Program Elements in the flow of materials. Group exercises will be used to analyze, document and report findings, concerns, and observations and demonstrate how to communicate with management personnel, including the followup actions to assure effective actions are taken and objective evidence verified for close-out determination. Schedule: The daily schedule is from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Examination: An administered written examination as required by NQA-1: 2008, Requirement 2, Quality Assurance Program, Paragraph 303.4 will be on the final day and requires 80% or better passing score. Certification of Training and Examination and copy of exam provided. Fee: $1295.00 includes the course, administration of the written examination, certificate of training, sample manual, procedure, form and NQA-1 checklist. Advance payment is requested.
