The Ottawa Catholic School Board opens its doors during Catholic Education Week to the exciting adventures in learning our students experience every day. All Board schools will host activities to encourage the community and the public to visit and experience this year’s theme, Opening Doors of Mercy. Our Board-wide Catholic Education Week Mass, celebrated by Archbishop Terrence Prendergast, rd takes place Tuesday, May 3 at 7:30 p.m. at Notre Dame Cathedral, 385 Sussex Drive, Ottawa. The Mass will be followed by the presentation of the Director of Education Commendation Awards and the Stephen H. Richardson Memorial Award. Both of these awards are unique as the recipients are nominated by their peers. Several commemorative school anniversaries will also be celebrated during the week. th
