YA PROGRAMS September 2017 Ages 12-18 ONLY Maker Day!: Ages 8 and older. Come take things apart-put things together-and learn how stuff works such as soldering, circuits, robotics, and more! Teen Craft Activity: Come make a fun craft-the library provides all of the supplies! Teen Science Activity:
Come learn about some aspect of science with a fun activity! Stomp Rockets, Exploding Chalk Art, and more!
Pumpkin Decorating Contest: Pick up a pumpkin from the library any time from October 9th-14th. Then take it home and decorate it as your FAVORITE BOOK CHARACTER. Bring it back by October 21st to be displayed for voting. Winners will be announced on October 31st! PLEASE NO CARVING, ONLY DECORATING (Painting, gluing, stickers, etc.) We don’t want pumpkins rotting before voting!
Spook Alley– It’s that time again!! Come help the Ghostbusters defeat all of the ghosts in our annual spook alley! The spook alley runs from 7:00pm9:00pm and you can come any time!! The spook alley is recommended for children over the age of 8 due to content and young children will not be let in without an adult, in other words, IT IS SCARY!, EVERY YEAR! We will have the children’s room open for children who do not want to participate i n the spook alley while their friends/family go through.
