Now, mother, grandmother, teacher speaking at high schools / transition programs, & leader - former president of Capitol People First - her mission is to involve young people. She started new People First chapters & is helping start a statewide State Council (SCDD) Consumer Advisory Committee.
TAURA ANDERSON, principal of Chandler Tripp School in San Jose has created 5 inclusive preschool programs for disabled children in Head Start & State preschool programs, promoting success for all children within these environments. She is also the Program Manager for Early Start infants & families. She has assisted in developing materials to aid with assessment, and shares her expertise by doing trainings & technical assistance statewide.

Sacramento State University, makes a powerful impact on her students with her passion for inclusion. She presents on inclusive practices in Calif. special ed. systems & internationally in China, Cambodia, Vietnam, Korea. Her support group for Korean speaking families spurs advocacy for inclusion in their communities. She created an inclusive Sacramento preschool classroom, a SEEDS visitation site.
Director of Kern Regional Center, pushes both staff and clients to pursue supports and services that lead to a truly inclusive lifestyle. He is an advocate for microenterprises, home ownership, and self-determination. Dr. Clark promotes a true model of inclusion for his own daughter as well as for as many Kern Regional Center clients as possible.
CRISTIN FIORELLI is Director of Triumph Center for Early Childhood Education in Oak Park neighborhood of Sacramento. She has established a philosophy & culture of “all are included & all can succeed.” Children wi th chall enging beha vi ors & disabilities receive an education built on their strengths. She is a partner with parents & community programs. The results show children learning in a positive, purposeful environment.
MAUREEN KELLY is an educator, mentor, and coach who promotes the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, to grow, to contribute, to have friends, and to have fun in the community. As the director of the St. He lena Cooperative Nursery School, Maureen has created a community where all children belong and are respected for who they are.
