Research Grant for Foreign Scholars in Chinese Studies and Taiwan Fellowship We, at the Center for Chinese Studies (CCS), would like to take this opportunity to pass on some information and ask your help in spreading the word. The Center is responsible for administering two research grants, the Research Grant for Foreign Scholars in Chinese Studies and the Taiwan Fetlowship. Both programs are for foreign scholars of the humanities, social sciences and the fields of Chinese or Taiwanese Studies, including professors, associate professors, assistant professors, Ph.D. candidates and researchers at overseas universities and academic institutes, wishing to carry out research in Taiwan for periods between three months and one year. Assistance provided includes a monthly stipend and a direct round-trip economy-class ticket. We are currently accepting applications for the 2018 Research Grant for Foreign Scholars in Chinese Studies. All application materials should be posted (electronically or by air mai!) no later than May 31st, 2017. Applications for the 2018 Taiwan Fellowship, which CCS administers on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, wil! be accepted between May 1st and June 90,2017. ptease visit our website (http://ccs.ncl.edu.tw and http://taiwanfetlowship.ncl.edu.tw) for more detailed information and the online applications.
